To be clear up front, we are not commenting on the apartment listed here. When we contacted the owner for entry instructions he sent us the location for an alternative apartment. The apartment we stayed in was one that - by the owner’s admission - was used as an “overflow” when other properties were full. As it turned out the apartment’s location was much better than the one we initially booked - so that was great. The owner who met us was very nice and very accommodating. When we got inside it was obvious that some basic amenities were missing (e.g. no kettle; no detergent for the washing machine; no drying rack), but the owner was quick to go out and being things back for us. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good.

The apartment was very spartan. Even though it had a kitchen area there was precious little in the way of cookware, utensils or plates etc. If you arrive expecting to prepare even a simple meal you will be disappointed. Similarly, while there was a standing closet there were no clothes hangers. Again, one just had the sense of being in an unfinished place.
