Wisteria Cottages are self catering cottages in a beautiful village location

Ideal cottage for two people. Very tranquil location in a small village, with beautiful countryside views. Yet close to the A49 for easy access to Ludlow, Shrewsbury and other nearby locations. Extremely clean cottage, with all necessary equipment. Very clear arrival information, and very easy parking adjoining the cottage. Excellent meals at the lovely nearby pub, the Dorrington Horseshoes.

The bed was very comfy, high quality furnishings in the bedroom. Very clean and tidy. Great sized bathroom with hot water and both a shower and a bath which was lovely.

The kitchen could be a little more equipped by having basic ingredients e.g. salt/pepper/oil. The property was a little cold but I saw later on I could have contacted the owners to adjust it!

Host was Welcoming,greeted us on arrival and was happy to help if there was any problems, the place was clean,had everything we needed amazing views from where we was staying,very friendly area the locals was Welcoming and friendly and the local pub just a minute walk away was also very welcoming and friendly and very much helpful to the local area.The area doesn't have much to do its definitely for relaxation and had plenty of walking areas the landlords of the pub wrote down a list of things to do in Shrewsbury which is about 15,20 minute's away in the car which is also a lovely place with plenty to do

There's nothing that we didn't like,you just have to be careful,mindful of the roads in the area very narrow with no foot paths for the locals walking their dogs and plenty of stops, pulling in and backing up, as you are coming in and out on the same narrow road which is expected for back roads in a village

The location of it is great. everything in the cottage was fine, and there is also just around the corner a pub that serves meals and beer of course. The local shops are five minutes away in the car and if (the post office/shop seems to sell almost everything) enjoy a morning walk before breakfast it takes about 25 minutes (downhill and a lot longer coming back puffing up the hill. We both loved the layout of a self-contained cottage for two, with all its amenities at ground level and will suit most elderly people down to the ground

What I am going to say now has nothing to do with the owners of these cottages and was beyond their control. The position of the cottages leaves them taking the sun from the early morning until it goes down at night. This will not be a problem in a normal British summer but unforunatly we happened to be there when the tempratures rose to 35c so when we returned to the cottage it was like walking into a sauna and although Helen the owner provided us with a large rotating fan to try and cool things down for us but we hardly had a wink of sleep every night during our stay.
