Rancho São Carlos is a rural property located in Itatiaia-RJ, next to the Itatiaia National Park - the first national park in Brazil.
Inside the ranch, we have a small inn and a small restaurant. The Rancho Inn, operating since 2014, has only five accommodations and a limit of 15 guests.
Ranchinho, created to cater to our guests, offers a menu of home-style dishes within the concept of comfort food. Today, we also accept a limited number of reservations from the general public on weekends.
Ranchinho also offers a DAY USE service on various dates, with advance reservations throughout the year.
Inside the Ranch, you'll find a spacious, tranquil, and peaceful environment surrounded by lush nature next to the Atlantic Forest in the Lower Part of the National Park, ideal for nature lovers.
The Campo Belo River runs through the property, descending from the upper parts of the park, with waterfalls, pools, and a large natural swimming pool where you can also enjoy a wood-fired sauna and the poolside bar with drinks and snacks.
The Ranch also opens its space for events such as parties, weddings, birthdays, get-togethers, and corporate events.
Rancho São Carlos was part of an old, large coffee farm, a profitable crop in the early 20th century. By the turn of the 1930s/40s, the farm had been subdivided into lots and the current buildings erected.
