Hôtel Massé

So glad I chose this hotel! Close to a few different metro and bus stops and it’s within a reasonable walking distance to Galleries Lafayette. Lots of cafes and restaurant in the area. And very importantly since I visited during summer they have very good air conditioning. Breakfast was rather simple but very tasty. Staff were also very nice.

I was a little confused about how to signal to ask not to be disturbed since they only have two different coloured strings on the door with no markings. But no big deal since I was not disturbed.

Excellent staff and attention to detail. The interior and design of the hotel was super stylish.

Didn’t have any dislikes.

Connecting Rooms didn’t have a door between the room, it was the hallway outside the bedroom that had a separate door to connect, wasn’t what I was expecting but it worked out

Massé is beautifully curated, the furnishings, the textures, the amenities but the service really lets them down.

We booked their highest deluxe room and they gave us a different room to what was advertised that looked nothing like the photos listed or what was in our booking confirmation. They later told us they had two deluxe rooms and we needed to select that other one (one room wasn’t even photographed and had a different bathroom and no bathtub). We came to an agreement with management but it ruined the end of our holiday. Service can also be slow and forgetful, you’ll have to ask for things twice or be used to inconsistency. Staff always seem a little flustered even with such a small amount of rooms.
