The house is very authentic. It reminded me of childhood holidays. Plenty of utensils, glasses and plates and equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Fabulous views across the bay towards the White House. The gardener, Nico, met us on arrival and showed us around. Beautiful gardens and four terraces to choose from so there is always a spot in the sunshine or shade. A private jetty which is shared with the houses either side which was lovely to swim from at the end of the day. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms and the lounge which was a welcome relief. The property is about a 10 min walk downhill into Kalami and, obviously, an uphill walk back which we did slowly.

Nothing really. We loved our time there. The bathrooms are functional and could maybe do with a bit of an update but there was plenty of hot water. For those with mobility issues it is important to note that the property is situated a walk up the hill from Kalami and has steps leading down from the road and also down through the gardens which may make it not suitable for everyone.

Nice to have a more waterproof roof over the table but I understand that rain is probably quite rare.

Location, location, location! Steps to our private dock and the warm Mediterranean sea. 15-minute swim to Kalami beach and a 5-minute walk to the village. Lovely Kalami bay views. AC worked well. Niko the caretaker and his wife kept the place spotless and were very attentive to our needs.

The property was bare bones. The furniture, mattresses, and kitchen gear were all subpar. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a boxspring with no mattress, the towels were mismatched and thin, and stove and washer were old and the kitchenware was mismatched and low quality. The living room furniture was uncomfortable and they stored repair products and paint in baskets in the living room. The main kitchen and living room had an odd smell that we couldn't identify. As much as we loved our stay we felt that the owner's invested the absolute minimum in the property and therefore its best years were behind it.
