Built close to the ocean - Only a Few Steps take you right onto the pristine undeveloped private shoreline beach, from the nice Level land in front of the house.Rare - Deep Water Frontage, with your own private beach ! Enjoy and Explore beaches, and rocky shores, Anytime !
No Stairs required to access the Secluded shoreline, simply walk to start exploring.
Bring your kayaks, or powerboat.
You can launch hand carry small boats right off the property.
OR if you have a trailer-able powerboat, there is a great public marina, and Boat launch right in town to use for free.
Relax outside on the Custom Built Deck, to take in all the sights, sounds, and ocean breezes.
Enjoy the most spectacular sunrises over the ocean you will ever see !
With an easterly view, you can't get any better. On a clear day, when the solar positioning, and atmosphere is just right, you may witness the elusive green flash just as the sun breaks on the horizon... truly amazing !
Don't forget about the Moon Too !
The same dramatic easterly ocean view, also has the best moon rise viewing available.
If the lunar cycle is right, the Moon Man will will greet you with awe inspiring colors, and brightness, that you will never forget !
Bald eagles nest in the Forest Surrounding the house, other seabirds, and wildlife are commonplace. There is forest all around the property.
Seals and seabirds relax and forage in the water, and on the rocks.
Groups of seals and birds will chase schools of pogies in the water, as they come near shore in season, and it is a sight to see.
Also Explore the surrounding forest of the property, with nearly 3 private acres of natural land, there is lots to see.
Lobster fishing takes place in the deep water right in front of the property. Watch the boats out for the days catch.
You can enjoy the catch too ! There are several lobster piers in town, to purchase lobsters, crabs and other seafood right off the boat. A list of some suggestions will be available.
There is a large outdoor propane boiler available, to use for your seafood feast, at the cottage.
Equipped kitchen for your culinary delights, with an assortment of small appliances, and a nice table with seating for 10.
The pure uninterrupted darkness of the clear skies, offers ultimate celestial gazing.
Stars, constellations, and even other planets can be easily seen with the naked eye.
Good Binoculars will enhance the experience.
Also, distant lighthouse beacons can be seen from the islands nearby, and offshore.
Artists, Photographers, and Writers can get creative here. Quiet, Magical, Inspiring, rugged landscape and ocean views, are sure to get the imagination going.
You may want to stay at the cottage everyday, but if not, there is also the option of Hiking in the many public wild conservation, and wild preserve lands in the nearby area.
An example is the renowned Great Wass Island preserve. It's just a short drive to the neighboring town of Beals Island, where there is a bridge to get to the island in the center of Jonesport.
There are also many Historical locations and other natural features, to visit in surrounding areas, and there is a historical society in town.
Another option is day or half day trips. World famous Acadia National Park makes for a wonderful day trip. West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec, is another fine example and a great place to see. If you like to make little side trips, make a plan, as there is a seemingly endless amount of worthy visits within a drive from the cottage.

Absolutely beautiful property. Extremely clean house, incredibly well-stocked kitchen and lots of comfortable chairs for sitting outside to enjoy watching the seals.

Incredible ocean view. Quiet. Kristopher was unbelievably helpful. Best equipped VRBO I have ever stayed in. Cozy. Comfortable furniture. If I could give it a 12 I would.

What a great place! The home is certainly smaller, but very comfortable. It was clean, organized and had everything we needed. Overall, the house was great. The family all thought it was the fastest they had felt comfortable and “at home” out of any rental property we’ve ever stayed at. Although we understood there was no Internet service since it was not listed, it should be noted cell service (we are on Verizon) is not great. So if you’re looking to work while you’re there, just understand it’s slow going! Outside, the yard is very spacious for activities, but if you are just looking to relax in front of the ocean, this is the place. The beach area is very private. You cannot see another house from the property. When we were at the there, we did not see a single person unless they were on a boat! As we explored the area, the people were extremely friendly. Food was really good at Stewart’s and Jonesport Pizza.There really wasn’t a need for much communication with Kristopher as everything was pretty clearly explained. The communication we did have was positive. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. We plan on staying there again.

The location of the cottage is spectacular! Lots of grass area to play overlooking the ocean. View from every room of the ocean. House was set up great for a family with the main living area and kitchen in the middle of the two bedrooms. Quick communication from Kristopher on questions we had. Overall, would definitely stay here again to visit our friends in Jonesport.
