Tucked just behind Main Street in downtown Ouray, this charming suite is part of the historic Lotus Mountain Suites, originally built in 1899 as the “OK Stables” that once housed Ouray’s earliest travelers—horsemen, gold seekers, and adventurers. Today, the building’s rich history blends seamlessly with modern comfort, featuring hardwood floors, an Aspen wood ceiling, central A/C, and an efficiency kitchen with a full-size oven and island bar. After a day of exploring, unwind with a home-cooked meal or slip into the ultra-deep soaking tub.

• This suite is part of the Lotus Mountain Suites, a 3-unit complex steeped in Ouray history. The suite can be rented individually, or the entire complex can be booked together.
• STR Permit #2025-1174
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Beautifully restored on the inside. Very easy to get inside with keypad entry. Meticulously clean. Covered parking behind the building was very nice. It was a little confusing to find which property was ours. The address given was another unit facing the Main Street and our property was actually only accessible from the ally behind building. We ended up waking in on another guest . While it was not a problem for us, there is a set of stairs descending from the car port which luggage must be carried up and down.

did NOT know that rickety steps were involved, there was no outside environments to relax in, surroundings were not desirable at all. entrance/exit and tight parking were not suitable. would NOT stay here again.
