• Since the Desert Rose Resort is a timeshare property, you may be invited to a presentation. There is no obligation for you to attend, and it is suggested that you politely decline to maximize your time while visiting.
General terms:
• Tenants shall use and maintain the Resort in a careful and lawful manner and shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy other tenants. The Tenant affirms they will follow all policies and rules of the resort, as notified upon arrival and occupancy of the unit, including check-out time, as many resorts assess a fee for late check-out.
• The Tenant accepts all responsibilities for any damages to the unit or Resort property during the rental period by Tenant or Tenant's guests.
• The Tenant hereby indemnifies and holds the Owner harmless against any and all claims of personal health/sickness, injury or property damage or loss of any kind arising from use of the Resort regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss.

I have been an owner of Shell Vacations timeshare properties for many years. This is a fully transferrable timeshare unit, so the reservation is booked under your name (or the individual who will be checking in). Once your request has been accepted, you will check in just like at any hotel. Please provide the first and last name of the individual who will be checking in with the front desk with your initial inquiry/request.

The Desert Rose Resort is a great place to stay - I give it 5 stars. It’s in a good location, close to the strip and the airport but far enough not to get the noise and lights. The personnel are very friendly and helpful. The lobby is nice and has a small bar. The pool is great and there are plenty of loungers with shade around them. They have great security - all the building doors and pool area are always locked. Instead of a key, you get a wristband that opens all the doors so having everything locked is not inconvenient.
The apartment I stayed in for five nights was barely adequate. The best part was the patio, which was small but shaded and pleasant. The air conditioner was so loud when it came on that it drowned out the TV. I contacted the front desk about it. They had the a/c unit serviced but that made no difference. The kitchen was well-stocked with two notable exceptions. There were no ice trays in the refrigerator so I had to go downstairs to get ice. The coffee maker was not a one-cup Keurig type. To make a pot of coffee for just me for one cup was not worth the trouble so I didn’t use it. The interior of the bedroom is visible from stairways outside so I kept the bedroom shades closed. There were many other small inconveniences - no convenient outlets except in the kitchen and bedroom, the closet door that doesn’t stay open, etc. I would not recommend this room.
