We visited Chateau des Louteaux for my partners 40th as a group of 20 adults (mainly couples) and it was an amazing stay. To start the photos do not do the property justice, it's truly breathtaking! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own private space as well as group activities and dining. The property is decorated with wonderful antique furniture and lots of interesting trinkets. Caroline, the housekeeper, was lovely and gave us a full tour of the Chateau on arrival and was on hand for any questions we had throughout. I would strongly recommend having a vehicle for getting around and running errands (especially for larger groups) - local taxi service is limited. That said, there is plenty to do on site if you just want to make use of the facilities. This property is ideal for events or group getaways and I would highly recommend.

We stayed at the Chateau for 7 days and wished it could have been 2 weeks. There was a group of 24 of us, all neighbours from Vancouver, Canada. We had been planning this dream trip for 2 yrs do to Covid and we finally were there. The location of the Chateau was perfect, 2.5 hrs south of Paris. It is in a beautiful rural setting with fields and fields of sunflowers. We could not believe how amazing the Chateau looked as we drove up. The grounds were gorgeous and the building itself was unbelievable. We couldn't believe we had the whole place to ourselves. Caroline the property manager was waiting for us as we drove up. Sh was a lovely lady who explained everything we needed to know about our up coming stay. She showed us the incredible pool and pool house and all throughout the Chateau with it's two floors. We were shown the garden that we were allowed to use as much as we wanted (the fresh strawberries, cucumber, peppers, Zucchini, herbs and tomatoes were enjoyed the whole week) The house is full of amazing antiques and beautiful personal objects of the owners. All the bathrooms have been updated and modern and the beds in all 13 bedrooms are so comfortable. There is more than enough plates cuttlery and glassware for 3 times the amount needed. The Kitchen was done of our groups favourite place to hangout wether it was having coffee in the morning or making a communal meal for dinner. We would love to thank the owners for sharing their beautiful home with all of us, it truly was one of the most magical and enchanting holidays any one of us had ever had. We hope to return in the future and fall in love with this place all over again

Lovely 17th C Chateau
Lovely 17th C Chateau
This chateau exceeded our expectations, from the lovely interior & period furnishings to the views of the llamas & surrounding countryside. There were plenty of rooms to relax in & the piano room was perfect for nighttime concerts! We ate most of our meals outside on the terrace & hired a private chef to prepare a special meal for our final night! It was an extraordinary place to stay!
