About this house rental
3-star cottage in a quiet area (57m²), in a small Périgord hamlet, comfortable for 4 people.
Stay:
• From July and August to the week rental from Saturday to Saturday
• Off-season rental with a minimum of 3 nights (we
contact)
Including:
• A large room with equipped kitchen (dishwasher, fridge
freezer, oven, microwave), dining room, living room with TV
• Upstairs:
o 1 Bedroom with 1 bed 140*190
o 1 Bedroom with 2 beds 90*190
o A bathroom with shower, hairdryer, washing machine
o Separate toilet
• Iron and ironing board
• A private terrace (table and barbecue)
• Common area
o Heated communal swimming pool open from May to the end of September by a heat pump. The swimming pool is located on the property and is shared with our other cottage "terre de pierres - l'Aventurine" (10 people) also visible on the reference site 1965830
o Garden with swing and volleyball court
Situation:
Equidistant (12 Kms) from SARLAT (Dordogne valley) and
MONTIGNAC (Vézère valley), LES-EYZIES (prehistory museum),
close to the gardens of Eyrignac
Activities:
• Hiking and mountain biking trails from the cottage
• Leisure pond (supervised swimming, fishing) 4 km away
• Golf course, canoeing, caving, tree climbing park for all ages
Discovery of the heritage:
• Numerous parks and castles
• Prehistoric caves as well as all the small typical villages of the
Périgord noir.
• Numerous gourmet markets at night
Other:
• Small dogs accepted with the prior agreement of the owner, must be kept on a leash outside and their owner will be responsible for keeping the green spaces clean. A flat rate of 50€ including cleaning will be required.

Charming cottage in a beautiful area about 15 min drive from Sarlat la caneda. Host couple is very kind and the pool is lovely. The cottage smells a little musty—as did many places we stayed in France—the furniture is a bit shabby and it is lacking air conditioning, so beware if it is really hot out that could be an issue. Overall, decent value and I would consider staying there again.

Farid and his wife were lovely and very attentive, the description is spot on. The pool is lovely and a large garden and black berries to pick with the kids. If you are tall though you will struggle as the bed is short with a foot board so you feet can’t overhang. Due to the agricultural location if you have the windows open there are a lot of flies. The biggest and only real let down is that the next door neighbours have dogs that bark incessantly and when you drive past they escape and really go for the car. It is quite intimidating! Unfortunately this is obviously out of the hosts control and why I would only recommend it as a base to explore unless you are of course deaf!

We had an extremely pleasant stay. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house was perfect for our needs and we particularly enjoyed using the pool. We can thoroughly reccomend this gîte.

site très bien situé: a proximité de châteaux, villages typiques, jardins remarquables, producteurs locaux ... accessibilité des hôtes très facile. Propriétaires a l'écoute des locataires.
