We had a short stay in Nantes, the hotel was perfect and in a brilliant location.

Location was perfect, easy to find hotel, staff were very helpful and friendly. we didn't have breakfast but it smelt and looked delicious

Best hotel for stay in Nantes

Everything! Brilliant location, could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Yet in a quiet street! Close to secure car park. Staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great (extra charge), would have liked more fruit though. Cold water available any time. Rooms were fine, nice shower! No kettle for hot drinks but we didn’t mind that. Would definitely stay again

A wonderful, peaceful stay in Nantes

It was a wonderful stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was nice, the staff were super helpful, friendly and kind. The location is great and after each day I genuinely looked forward to going back to the room for some rest!

Very pleasant short stay

This is our second time staying as we liked it so much the first time. Location is great . Staff are very helpful. It is such a nice boutique hotel. Breakfast is very good.

In the room we were in there was substantial mold on the blinds and windows in the bathroom. It was a bit off putting. Also needed a bit better vacuuming of the floor around the head of the bed.

Really lovely hotel. Comfortable and clean, with very nice decor. Hotel staff were exceptional: friendly and helpful at all times. The location is ideal. Excellent breakfast, as well. We would absolutely stay here again.

We just happened to stay on a humid night, so it was a little hot in the room, though the hotel proactively reached out in advance to remind customers we'd booked a hotel without air conditioning. The addition of an electric fan was appreciated. Once it cooled a bit outside we opened windows. Between that and the fan we managed to sleep comfortably.

I felt very safe and settled in my room for the four nights I spent there.

The room was comfortable, the bed,the bathroom and the tv were all well functioning. Being able to open the French windows was lovely. The location was great for walking the city and assessing the tram.

The steps up to the foyer area, the dark decor were imposing. The tiny lift and narrow corridor to my room were a bit off putting on arrival.

Perfect modernised old hotel with great staff

Comfortable tastefully modernised hotel in the old part of town. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault it at all and would highly recommend to any visitors to Nantes.

Bed was very comfortable. Older receptionist was fantastic giving us advice about the city and her recommendation for la cognate was 👌

No air conditioning, room did have a fan but even with this and the windows open it was still too warm. Rooms are also a little on the smaller side but adequate for a couple

Superb location in the heart of the old city of Nantes - great hub to explore from

Location was superb, staff were extremely friendly and gave great advice. We were right in the heart of the old city but it was so lovely and quiet with a beautiful park beside the hotel to sit and watch the time go by. Very close to restaurants, museums, shopping - everything you would want or need. Would recommend to friends - definitely!!!! Thanks to all for making our stay so lovely

The hotel exceeded our expectations, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

We loved the welcome on arrival and the detailed information on Nantes and its attractions. Ideal location so close to the city centre and all the sights we wished to visit were in walking distance. Loved the decor and ambience of the dining room and decor throughout the hotel. Breakfasts were excellent and staff so attentive. It was out first visit to Nantes, my grand daughter anxious to appreciate la vie française and soak up the atmosphere. Of the three locations we stayed in Hotel Voltaire Opera was our favourite
