* A note about the open floor plan: Casa Chamisa is a completely separate single family home which will be 100% yours during your stay. This multi room adobe home has a layout that invites a feeling of privacy between the rooms especially with the 18 inch adobe walls between them!
However, the only interior privacy door is to the bathroom. Most guests love this feature, but those who want more privacy between rooms (like a door to the bedroom for example), please consider this layout when booking this unique place. WHEN MAKING YOUR RESERVATION please let us know you've read and agree with the following common sense Rules as we do enforce them to ensure a 5 star experience for everyone. If any of these rules are broken, there will be a fine and possible cancellation of the reservation without refund.
PETS and CHILDREN
Pets are not allowed. Casa Chamisa Too is not suitable for children.
REGISTERED GUESTS
Before the reservation is confirmed, we require the name(s), contact information and vehicle (make/model/plate) information of each individual guest staying on the property during the reservation.
SHOES: We request that guests remove their shoes upon entering the home (our area is known for pesky stickers called goat heads that track inside on shoes).
SMOKING and VAPING: Smoking/vaping OUTDOORS only is allowed and an ash tray is provided (pantry). This includes cannabis use and vaping. Please dispose of all extinguished butts in the trash receptacle.
SMOKING or VAPING INSIDE will incur a $1000 charge taken out of the security deposit
CIGARETTE BUTTS discarded and found on the ground outside will incur a $100 charge taken out of the security deposit
CANNABIS USE: Recently, New Mexico, passed Recreational Cannabis use, which we support. We ask that you enjoy responsibly and remember please smoke outside only (including vaping).
COLOGNE, PERFUME and AIR FRESHENERS: Cologne and perfume products can linger in the house for days after checkout. Please keep our home as fragrance free as possible. An extra cleaning fee may be imposed if steps are required to eliminate strong odors before the next guest arrives.
Under no circumstances are minors under 18 allowed to be alone in the home.

My third or fourth visit here, the house has several upscale features like the “Purple” king bed and bathroom space heater. Several small comfy rooms!

We had an enjoyable stay at Casa Chamisa Too. Molly thought of everything. The house was clean & comfy, The kitchen has a gas stove & we really enjoyed making meals there. It had all of the basic necessities as far as pots, pans and dishes go. I informed Molly that the water kettle was damaged, just to give her a heads up and she quickly replaced it for us, which I wasn’t expecting and really appreciated how accommodating she was during our whole stay.
When we arrived in the house there was a personal note from Molly with her number and a fresh loaf of pumpkin beard from the local cafe, which was delicious. There was a printed guide of local restaurants and other shops as well as brochures for things to do in the area.
The house stayed warm and comfortable during our winter stay with its 2 mini splits. There were robes ready for us to use when we went to all the different hot springs we tried throughout our stay.
There’s a little backyard with some chairs where you can sit and enjoy a good book or hangout with your loved ones on a nice day. The house is in an old neighborhood that’s very quiet and a short walk from their downtown area. It’s a sleepy town where everything closes early so make sure you have what you need before it closes.
There’s also Elephant Butte only a short drive away with lots of trails.
We really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again in the future. Thank you Molly for making our first stay in TorC so easy and enjoyable.

Cozy historic casita with comfy king bed. Well equipped kitchen could use more counter space but lovely separate dining room. Five minute drive to hot springs. Great couples getaway!
