air-conditioned open plan kitchen, living room and dining table. Patio
doors lead out onto the private pool terrace. Also located on the
ground floor is an air-conditioned double bedroom with en-suit bathroom
with a bath and washing machine. Outside the villa is private parking
space, with a path leading down the side to the villa that leads to the
private pool with sun loungers, pergola, barbecue, table and chairs.
Living Room
The living room is air-conditioned and has a dining area, comfortable
sofas, DVD Player, Satellite TV and Free Wi-Fi. There are patio doors
to the pool terrace.
Kitchen
The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also
a barbecue outside.

The Bedroom is air-conditioned with a double bed. En Suite Bathroom

years of age, a refundable security deposit of 150 EU, per person, is

arrival. Upon departure, the villa must be left clean and tidy and upon
inspection, the security deposit will be refunded minus any breakages
or additional cleaning required.

The island of Alonissos is small but we explored it pretty thoroughly and did fabulous walks every day 6-7 miles, which were all surprisingly well marked.

I would start by saying that we had a fabulous week staying at Villa Tassoula. First impressions of this villa were that it is a little tired but having stayed a day or two we fell in love with it, great location, so incredibly spacious, freshly painted inside, wonderful bright bathroom lighting and gobsmacking ceiling woodwork! Yes the kitchen is old as are all the tiles in the property, but the oven works well, there is a good size fridge with sizeable freezer and everything you need is here really apart from a microwave which I thought I read somewhere it said it had. Not a problem really. We particularly loved the generously-sized covered space on the terrace, outside but protected from the sun. It was a lovely place to eat and read and doze!
A very friendly man came to clean the pool on our second day, and the pool looks beautiful but is a bit cold in September! Did enjoy the pool a few times though. Also a cleaner came unexpectedly in the middle of our stay when we were out, tidied and changed the towels and sheets which was a nice surprise.
The island of Alonissos is small but we explored it pretty thoroughly and did fabulous walks every day 6-7 miles, which were all surprisingly well marked. Many spectacular views and some quiet tiny beaches. We ate mainly in the villa but had two superb meals at a€œTassiaa€™s Cookinga€ in Steni Vala. We are veggies so unfortunately the traditional fish and meat dishes dona€™t float our boat.
The beach Leftos Gialos that Villa Tassoula is just above, though described as one of the best beaches on the island, is not actually our cup of tea. Too regimented and posh, not offering the little rustic taverna of old so we never spent any time on it. Swam from it once and the sea was divine but personally too commercialised for us.
Only possible downside of Villa Tassoula is that WiFi could be an issue depending on how important it is to you. There was no connection but we fluked out on another local one. We arrived at Villa Tassoula on 18th September and the arrival notes said that connection was guaranteed at the local beach tavernas Dolopes and Eleonas. But we were out all day and being late in the season both tavernas were closed in the evening so that wouldna€™t have worked at all. If internet is important to you, I would advise to check true availability.
On our last morning the garden was filled with wild goats. Characters indeed! It was a lovely finish!

we have enjoyed the stay very much. Apart from the permanent internet problems, we were very satisfied also with the quick responsiveness in case of problems.
