Alonnisos - Sea View Studio Appartment

This was a great stay and apartment. Mrs. Isabela has been very nice to welcome us (with fresh delicious figs and water) and help with whatever was needed (there was just a problem with the wifi modem/ card, but she didn't let it go unfixed and by our second day it was resolved, she couldn't rest until everything is as presented and offered for the apartment :D). She actually made our stay even nicer, as she took some time to spend with us and make us feel even more welcome (with suggestions for beaches, restaurants, bakery, supermarket, etc.). The apartment is located on the 1st floor, so there is a bit of a walk up (just so you know). There is a very nice leaving room area, with a sofa (and bed for 1 person) and actually another wider bench around the table which could also be used as another bed (if needed). There is the main terrace, with a great view of the Votsi small port and you can see very nicely up to Patitiri port (we loved watching the ferries come and go). The bedroom is also very spacious, has another small terrace and a separate small room for the washing machine (which was useful to have & use). The entire place was very clean and we have nothing to complain about. As location, you are close to Votsi beach and a few other beaches you could walk to. However, I am not sure about the buses (we saw a few around, but not sure about their routes or schedules) or other local transportation to other beaches (which are very nice to go to). We used our car every day and people seemed to also use their cars, scooters or ATVs all around the island. We loved it here and we will surely come back again here if we are back on Alonissos.

Just a few mentions, not impacting our stay, but just so you know about them, maybe it would matter to you: the mattress on the bed is quite firm (I liked it, but I could see it being too hard for other people). Also the shower water pressure is not that strong (mostly at night). The parking situation is tight and the streets are very narrow, but the higher up you go in towns like this, it's not going to get better anyway :D So if you have a longer or wider car, it will be a bit of a challenge. There are a few free parking spots next to the house (we always found one, even taking the car our every day to go to beaches), but they are not strictly allocated to the apartment, and others (tourists or locals) might take them up too.
