Music in hotel public spaces was great! Hotel position, views, beach .... Great!

Water pressure in room shower was appalling. I understand management whish to save water but reducing the pressure to minimum is not the best course of action. Shower will be shorter with regular water pressure.

Worst 2 days of vacation we ever had

Barely anything

The pool was dirty, we had to get rid of 3 cockroaches in our room, the bathroom was atrocious. Since we found 3 cockroaches I imagine the hygiene isn't good at all. The food was also the same always. The pool area was also not at all organized and we couldn't find a place to be by the pool. We requested to change the Hotel because of all of this and thanks to the amazing Customer support from Valamar, our Vacation was saved by moving to Places Hotel. We got our second night 50% off, but to be honest we shouldn't have paid for anything considering how bad it was.

Location was great. Along with the breakfast the buffet lunch and the dinner was of great help as there were not many restaurants nearby, one has to walk to Stari Grad to for any shopping.

The facility is very very old, do not match to the photos. Even an old facility could be well maintained and cleaned. The beer and wine served during buffet dinner felt like diluted.

The location of this hotel is the ONLY good thing about it

Everything; dirty, old, outdated, rooms tiny and dirty (especially the toilet). Food awful (cold, undercooked, inedible). it was so bad we insisted on being moved to another hotel.

Perfect location

Hotel have the best location in Hvar. The saraunding nature , beach, romantic Stati Grad, view from the balcony and from the restorant terace, very clean water with 50 shades of blue and green color

There are a lot of old parts of the hotel that still need to be fixed, but it doesn't bother that much.

Really great location with beautiful beach.

Biggest disappointment was room and food. Room was everything else than present on photos by booking. Everything was very old and damaged (broken balcony doors, broken bath handle holder, sometimes no hot water, very low water pressure for shover etc. Food: my expectation were higher, same day more than less same food, very salty, really mostly not tasty.... Also elevator was mostly not working (5th floor...)

Place is beautiful and near to stari grad

Building is old and not well maintained . Food was mediocre at best. No way to have something to drink at 23.30. I was at the desk but the staff doesn't booked me a room, they give me a phone number to which no one answered. So I booked with booking .com

We recommend

That was for the first time we´ve had All inclusive in Croatia. It was really light all inclusive but for the price more than pretty good :) Our room with a beautiful sea view was perfect and a bed was super comfortable. Hotel Arkada is in a very great location in Stari Grad - ca 1 km near centrum but with several beautiful approaches to the sea.

The staff does not speak much English and wifi on our room was super low - but these two points are trivial and we really enjoyed our vaccay :)

Superb

We were here many times till 2014 when it was really too old everything. So its renovated, like on the photos. The stuff is kind and helpful. The location is 👌. The view from the room on the sea is really beautiful, we enjoyed it for the first time because there was no air-conditioning in the past and the room was too hot. Dinners and breakfast were also fine. But the weather in September is not that good. Its very windy (cold wind) after 13/14pm so i really didn’t want to go to the sea in the afternoon😃

Beds are small and not so comfortable.. Bathroom also too small and old, the same like before.

Amazing stay.

Amazing food. Very good location. In the hotel there a lot of possibilities to spend time: billiard, table tennis, table football, swimming pool.

The internet speed is intermittent, so you could have problems with Zoom conference. The balcony wall height is a quite small, so there is a potential risk to fall down.

Upplevde Kroatien och Balkan på riktigt!

Frukosten var fantastisk! Det fanns de godaste croissanterna och allt annat du kan önska dig. Müsli, frukt, yougurt, bröd, kaffe (olika sorter).

Middagsbuffén... maten (fisk och det goda) tog slut på 15 minuter - därför att gästerna lastade på för mycket mat och tog flera tallrikar på en gång. Galet att de ens gör så, fanns inget hyfs hos gästerna. Desserten hann vi inte ens smaka på för den var slut. Alla gäster tog alltså gigantiska tallrikar på en gång med efterrätt, de liksom skopade över ALL frukt och de små fina desserterna. Så synd att vi inte hann smaka. Men jag tycker ändå att det var en upplevelse att vara med på en sådan buffé - att se den typen av människor.

La seule chose à retenir c’est la vue et l’accueil. Les employés sont adorables heureusement. Le buffet est correct.

Plusieurs points importants, les photos booking ne correspondent pas. C’est un mélange de vieux hôpital ou maison de retraite. L’établissement est vieillissant, c’est tellement dommage : - nuisance sonore insupportable (gros problème de plomberie un bruit fort lorsque les voisins prennent leurs douches) - mur sale, traces, déchirures ect.. - sol moquette pas rassurant déchirures, tâches - plafond ancien dégâts des eaux même pas repeints.. - lit double ? Non deux lits simples coller ou alors un lit double minuscule - salle d’eau vieille +++ wc vieux mécanisme , douche joint noircis, rideau douche déchiré et sale, pas de meuble.. - les communs une catastrophe, sale, des objets de piscines sous l’escalier un vraie bordel, des bassines de partout signification de fuite - balcon nul, porte fenêtre en alu qui grince et qui force En clair pas du tout à conseiller. C’est la déception de notre séjour.. il faudrait refaire un bon coup de frais !

Hotel jest odwiedzany przez nas od kilku lat. Rok w rok jeździmy tam na tygodniowy urlop. Niestety z roku na rok jest coraz gorzej. Widać że wlaściciel nie inwestuje w to miejsce. Szkoda bo hotel ma ogromny potencjał.

Malo mjesto veliki hotel predivno more

S obzirom da je hotel iz 1969 godine sve je bilo uredno. Dorucak i veceru obavezno spominjem jer je bilo sve ukusno i puno izbora.soba nam je bila s pogledom na more i bazen . Predivno.plaza odmah ispod hotela.

Nije mi se svidio krevet koji je jako skripao i na svaki okret bih se budio. Cistacice su nam kao pocistile sobu a ostavile su prljavi i mokri rucnik na krevet.pa se pitam zasto su i dolazile.
