Sun-Soaked Coastal Cottage w/ Deck + Walk to Beach

The closeness to the beach, the yard and space inside was fantastic. It’s easy to go back and forth to the beach as it’s about 300 steps to the sand.

There were a lot of small things that make us not give it 5 stars and judging from the past reviews, the owners know about it and choose not to fix it. There was a kitchen cabinet that didn’t close and some what of a danger as I hit my head on it a couple times, the AC in one of the bedrooms is so loud it’s unusable, the bathroom sink in the primary bath leaks, closet door doesn’t open/shut correctly. Then the setup with the bedrooms is weird in that you have to walk the bedrooms to get to another. Lastly, let it be known that the train runs through the back yard and is very loud especially at 2AM. Also, the owners decided to clean out a garage during one of the days we stayed making it a bit uncomfortable and not private. Overall, we made the best of it but not a 5 star experience.
