Clean and well-appointed.

This property was just lovely, I was a little disappointed that the water and icemaker did not work however, to me,that’s minor.The patio was wonderful, we had a good time and it was just what we needed.

The house was nice, we did feel a bit restricted with what we could do while there, it seemed like the house was only for renting and not lived in at all. The smell from whatever the downstairs tenant cooked each night around 9pm was horrible. The house was clean, the necessities were provided but nothing more. The neighborhood seemed nice, the house is right on a very busy main road so there is a lot of traffic noise.

Overall the house was not bad, It was clean and decorated nicely, but the rooms were very cramped for a family of four with two teenagers. We could not figure out how to turn on the lamp in the living room nor did we know about the spare AC unit. It would have been helpful if they had listed more detailed instructions about the house in the welcome binder. We thought the AC was broken after the first night because it never cooled down to the desired temperature and it was so hot, but after some communication with the owner, we found out that there is a "split unit" in the living room that needed to be turned on. Something we had no experience with. The owner was very attentive in this matter and sent someone right away to check the Central Unit just in case. I was also a little surprised that they had long term renters in the basement unit. This was not something that was mentioned in the description and was not disclosed until the day before check in. Honestly, I probably would not have booked this property had I known that. We didn't see or hear from them other then having to make sure to leave room in the driveway, but we felt like we had to be extra quiet walking around since we were above them, it was a little awkward. As for the size, I should have been more diligent when looking at the pictures. The rooms were on the small side, with no room for a dresser or place to put our suitcase without it being in the way the whole time. We had to make the most out of the closets, but those were even a tight squeeze getting in and out. The master bath was super small! I am not a big person by any means, and I had a hard time moving around in such a small space. The shower was just as small. My husband and I actually ended up sharing the hallway bathroom with the kids during the entire stay. The master bath looked newly renovated, but it was just too tight of a squeeze to be functional. I personally would not stay here again- mainly due to the size, which is not any fault of the owner. They made the most of the space they have, but for us it wasn't ideal.
