The Abita

Apartment was spotless, immaculately arranged, and in the perfect location. Would definitely stay again!

There was a slight “musty” or damp odor when you first entered, but you quickly didn’t notice. Floor way out in the hall (common area) was pretty dirty/sticky, and area where you were directed to put trash was dirty and smelly. The apartment, itself, though was very pleasant and provided exactly what we wanted/needed.

The rooms were spacious and pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a slightly longer walk to the nightlife. PIN numbers to get in means not worrying about having keys.

The gym is small and the photos are way out of date. A lot of the equipment in the photos are no longer there. The equipment has been replaced with what looks like storage cupboards and a vending machine. I travel a lot and the gym facilities is something that contributes to my decision making. Ask them to send current photos of the gym if that is important to you. Also the photos of the equipment in the kitchen are also out of date. No blender. No windows in the apartment. One door for entry and exit. This was weird and felt a bit trapped.

I loved the convenience with the keyless entry. I also appreciated the 24 hour availability for assistance.

PARKING and the fees. This would be the only reason why I wouldnt stay here again.
