About this apartment rental
This apartment is located in Chueca, one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in Madrid for its fantastic location, its restaurants, bars and fashion shops. From here, you will be able to walk to such emblematic places as Gran Vía or Puerta del Sol.
The apartment:
This fantastic two-bedroom apartment with capacity for six people offers guests a most pleasant stay. Refurbished in January 2020, it features lovely decoration in light tones.
One bedroom has a double bed and a large wardrobe, and the other has a double bed.
The bathroom, modern and functional, has a shower.
The living room with integrated kitchen is spacious and bright. It is equipped with a dining table and a sofa bed. The kitchen has everything you might need.
The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a building with a lift.
The cot is subject to availability. Please notify a maximum of 5 days in advance.
Air conditioning in the lounge.
To bear in mind:
IMPORTANT: This apartment is only offered for seasonal rentals, in accordance with article 3 of the Urban Leases Act (LAU). Clients will sign a seasonal rental contract upon arrival.
Online check-in is mandatory in accordance with current regulations and must be carried out through the MitHouse app/webapp. During this process, the MRZ band of each guest's identity document will be read to extract the data required by the authorities. It will be essential to have a mobile device and internet on the phone to access the apartment.
For stays longer than 28 days, a deposit of €1,000 will be required, refundable at the end of the stay if no damage occurs to the accommodation.
Respect: In order to ensure good cohabitation and respect for neighbours and residents, this apartment may be equipped with a 24-hour noise monitoring system. Guests are obliged to comply with the established quiet hours at all times.
In case of arriving after 19:00, remember to call at least 30 minutes in advance to ensure that someone is available to receive you directly at the apartment for key handover.
Important: all check-ins to be carried out between 21:00 and 02:00 have an additional cost of €70 to be paid in cash to the person who receives you at the apartment.
Please contact our team 48 hours before your arrival and carefully follow the instructions made available to you at all times. It will be essential to have a mobile device with call service. On your check-in day, you must contact our team 30 minutes before your arrival so we can coordinate the key handover.
MIT House is not responsible for any delay in apartment entry due to failure to complete said prior process.
Access to the apartment: this apartment is located within the Area called MADRID CENTRAL with restricted access to vehicular traffic. Please note that to access the apartment by private vehicle you must have the corresponding authorisation from the municipal General Directorate of Traffic (DGT). Otherwise you will only be able to access the apartment on foot, or by public transport, taxi or VTC. Mit House is not responsible for any municipal fines in this regard

The property was clean and looks similar to what was shared on the website. Location is close to several markets and attractions. However, there was a urine smell in the restroom when we arrived and it took the maintenance team 3-4 hours to come repair our clogged toilet.
Check-In process is a bit hectic where I was asked to find an office across the street and I was given instructions way too late.
