This please has a really pleasant and positive energy … it is not only because it is modern and equipped as you would expect the good hotel to be equipped these days but it is first and foremost thanks to super friendly, creative, always smiling and professional staff !!!

Location could be a bit more pleasant but you cannot have everything… location also drives price … so not a complaint… just a thought …

A flawless, elevated stay in the heart of Thessaloniki—ONOMA is unforgettable.

Everything. The decor was stylish, modern, and thoughtfully curated—every space felt intentional. The staff was genuinely warm and attentive, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade that elevated the entire stay. The room itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The location was absolutely perfect—central to all of my exploring sites and nestled among amazing restaurants, cafés, bakeries, the metro, and walkable city life. Cloud 8 bar was a whole vibe, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional—fresh, abundant, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The experience was so good that I happily left tips because the service truly deserved it.

Cool modern hotel, with great service and facilities.

The overall quality of the building and of the hotel service, the breakfast and the cocktail bar on the terrace. The hotel is also close to the metro.

The hotel has very limited parking space in its own premises, but they found a parking space for us in a 24/7 open parking service a few meters away.

The swimming pool!!! It was not a swimming pool, more like a hot tub. Hotels should have to put the size of the pool on their website. We only booked this hotel because it had a pool but we never went in it. Scummy! Also the room was small and everywhere was grey. Photo is a view from our room. Shower good though

Strange style over substance

The bed is comfortable and the breakfast is good. Some staff were attentive to queries that we had. The hotel is close to the station in a run down part of town.

This is a weird hotel and will not be to everyones taste. It is 'strange style over substance' with quirky and unnecessary features and it ought to prioritise its main function, that is, functioning as a hotel. It has a pretentious air, and seems to take delight in its not so smart technologies that serve to complicate and confuse. The bedroom is poorly designed with confusion about what light switch does what; there is a step down from the bed that can cause falls during the night while trying to access the toilet; and, there is lack of intuitive and simple design making it hard to work out how to use air conditioning. The biggest failing is using the top floor as a night club with booming music that shakes through the bedrooms and we had 6 continuous hours of this. Our sleep was disturbed and I asked for compensation but none forthcoming. So this reveals what this place is like. If ever the notion of 'less is more' applied, then it is to this particular hotel.

Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were lovely.

Suppose to be 5 star hotel. Im not sure how they grade in Greece but definitely not 5 stars!The bathroom is a disaster! The water for the shower wasn't hot enough and everything including the toilet get soaked when you shower. If you need to enter the bathroom after someone has showered you need to wear shoes so your feet don't get wet. They give you paper cups in the room instead of proper cups and there are no drinking glasses. They try to make it all about being tech savy but they have compromised this with functionality.

STOP SCROLLING - BOOK THIS HOTEL!

There was absolutely nothing to not love about this hotel. From the moment of booking through to arrival and departure this hotel delivered on every front. Communication was excellent from staff prior to arrival and the staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable and relatable to your expectations. The rooms are amazing, the beds are so comfortable and the decor is very modern. The in hotel gym had everything I needed to get a workout in and the messages in the lifts each day just brighten your day! The breakfast is perfect and had everything you could want and the Cloud9 Bar rooftop, plunge pool and sun lounges give you everything you need without a beach close by. I can not stress enough how much I loved this hotel, the staff and the entire experience here at ONOMA Hotel. You must stay!

The coffee from the coffee machine at breakfast was not to my liking - but the in room machine more than made up for it. I’m really picking at hairs to even find that one thing I did not like.

Nowhere near a real 5 star hotel (how do they get those stars really?). Location is relatively awful. The pool is not really useable. If you check some promo photos on IG it looks like a w:hore house (well, we found out about that too late). We actually booked it because it was quite expensive and had 9.1 rating so "it must be good", but I guess we cant also trust ratings anymore. The doors on the elevator are closing super fast and strong, and actually hit my watch. The city is also super crowded and dirty, so a pass for sure.

You need to pay extra for parking in hotel's garrage. We were charging our electric car the whole night but when we come in the morning it was not charged. Turned out some problem with horel's loading wallbox.
