Only five miles from Historic Downtown Fredericksburg and the heart of Wine Country, slip back in time in this charming 1880 farmhouse moved from Stonewall, Texas. Privately located on seven and a half gorgeous acres, Magnolia cabin provides the privacy and peace of being nestled in the tranquil Texas Hill Country surroundings while still conveniently located near the best that Fredericksburg has to offer.
Enjoy a quiet retreat whether you are looking for a romantic getaway for two, Honeymoon or a relaxing girl’s weekend. Relax with a glass of wine on the large front porch watching the deer nearby in the two chairs or on the comfy daybed. Or after a long day of shopping and vising the local wineries wind down in the hot tub off the back porch while secluded for privacy in the nature of the Hill Country.
Surrounded by large Oak trees, Magnolia cabin is a quaint retreat that offers a cozy stay for four in it’s one bedroom, one bathroom home with a kitchen fully stocked for meals at home such as utensils, plates, Keurig, cookware, microwave, refrigerator, stove, etc.
The inviting living room features a Queen pull out Sofa with Wifi, DVD Player and a TV for Roku/Streaming ability.
The bedroom consists of a super comfortable King size bed, Smart TV for Streaming from bed and an electric fireplace.
The Bedroom connects to the relaxing bathroom featuring a 2 person Jacuzzi tub (no shower) and crystal chandelier. Also with a deer feeder on site you may spot 20 or more Axis and Whitetail Deer in the mornings/evenings!! Such a sight to see!
Charcoal grill provided (please bring charcoal and lighter fuel in the event we are low). We provide hair dryers, iron and ironing board, Keurig coffee maker and coffee, sweetener and creamer for all of our guests. All linens are laundered and sanitized for each new guest!
With so much serenity and rustic relaxation at the cabin you may never want to leave! However with so many attractions in Fredericksburg such as museums, restaurants, shops and wineries be sure to explore the entire town and take in the culture! You can do wine tastings in town or visit any of the beautiful wineries along Highway 290 (be sure to check out 290 Wine Shuttle!)

Perfect amount of space for two near Fredericksburg. The cabin was spacious with a well equipped full sized kitchen. The hot tub was clean and running well. You will see a small heard of cattle come right near the property to graze but not too close to be a bother. The other cabins in the area are not close so you have your privacy and plenty of peaceful silence all day. The property owners and were very responsive prior to our stay. They provided all information we needed before check in.. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet cabin with more room than the other “tiny home” rentals that don’t have much of a kitchen and are surrounded by other properties. You will find your peace and quiet at the Magnolia house and still be close to all the fun of Fredericksburg.

Took my best friend of over 42 years for a gals weekend away and birthday! Loved just hanging at the home so much neither wanted to leave. The host communication was exceptional. Had everything we needed for a long weekend to just relax and rejuvenate. Loved our guard cats and enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning and evening to catch a glimpse of deer coming to graze near a feeder within our view. My friend said it’s just what she needed, so a big hit for me!
