Calm stay in great location

The accommodation is in a great location, in a quiet village with only a few apartments. The pier by the sea was not overcrowded, and sunbeds were available there. The apartment was spacious, with a large terrace and the option to sit under a pergola, although I didn’t use it much because of the omnipresent mosquitoes. The accommodation had enough dishes, as well as a dishwasher and a microwave.

The problem were ants - if even a single crumb was left anywhere, it was completely covered within an hour. I also can’t imagine such a small bathroom being comfortable for four people if the apartment were fully occupied. Another thing I didn’t like was the broken bottom part of the fridge, which I practically had to fix myself. The Wi-Fi was weak, but I understand that on more remote island locations, signal issues can occur.

We had a pleasant stay, the apartment was big enough but NO WIFI!

We loved the location, the apartment was in a small village far from big cities. It was nice and quiet with a beautiful view. The private beach was too small and there were too many sunbeds close to each other so we decided to go down to the beachbar area where the whole place was ours. The best part of the house was the huge terrace where we also asked for 2 extra sunbeds. The host immediately brought them upstairs so we could use them from the first day. The kitchen was nice, new and well equipped. Rooms are spacious, bathroom was nice with a good shower.

We arrived too early (10am) so we had to wait too long for the apartment, which was quite inconvenient as we were very tired after spending 11 hours in the car. Although we were allowed to use the terrace and the toilet, we couldn't get the rooms until 3pm. The girl tried her best to clean the whole place but she didn't have enough time. We had to finish cleaning and ask for a few bits that were missing (blankets, towels ...). The host was very nice and helpful, we were offered some drinks and a bottle of wine when we arrived. The only problem was that he couldn't speak English so we couldn't communicate with him. The host was a man, so a woman's touch was definitely missing from the place. It was simple, not particularly clean and the bedsheets, pillows, towels, frying pans were quite old and used. A woman would know when to replace these! Also, a few decorations would make the place more homey and warm, e.g. pictures, fake plants, rugs ...etc. The biggest problem was the wifi! It didn't work at all, so if you want to block yourself from the world, it is really the best place to be...

Very good

The property is positioned in a quiet part of Korčula, in Karbuni. It was very peaceful. Vela luka is just 15 minutes away. The terrace was very big and just as made for hanging around in the evening and playing cards and board games. And the view from the terrace was just beautiful. The kitchen was just great!

The bathroom could be cleaner. And beds were not that comfortable.

The location of the house is excellent. It's ideal for people who are searching for peace and sunbathing all day. From dusk till dawn the view is magnificent.

It's very hard to find the house with GPS because it's a small bay without anything and some local streets so be on the phone with the land lord before you arrive so you don't get lost

Außergewöhnliche Lage und Zugang zum Meer mit Liegen und Einstieg ins Meer.

Minibadezimmer, keine Handtuchhalter oder Haken im Bad, kein Fön, Ameisen überall innen und außen, der Außenbereich wirkt ungepflegt und unfertig, einfache Küchenutensilien wie Flaschenöffner oder Korkenzieher fehlen.....
