The amount of warnings about not cleaning and having to pay a deposit otherwise no further info for entry. At check-out you have to make pictures of a wet floor as proof that you mopped the floor. You have to take your own bedding, towels and toilet paper, this was not mentioned in the advertising on the website of booking . No proper double bed. No washing machine . Compelling nearly threatening instructions of the owner the clean the apartment, thereby staying there felt like not really relaxing

It was nice that there was a swimming pool

Blood-stained bedding—a disgusting sight. The owner doesn't check the bedding at all, and doesn't keep it clean. The apartment looks like someone's grandparents left behind. There's an unpleasant smell inside. Overall, I don't recommend it. The photos on Booking.com show three sofas, but there's only one sofa and one bed. Don't be fooled. The security deposit is refundable after a week—not true. I wasn't even informed of the intention to withhold my deposit under the pretext of numerous hairs. When I asked for photos, I received nothing. Overall, I don't recommend it. A liar and a fraud. I won't be adding any more photos of dirty, bloody sheets because no one wants to look at that...

The property is not a two-bedroom apartment. It is a studio with a tiny kitchen and a single room that can be divided into two sections using a foldable screen. Overall, the space feels rather tired and is in need of redecoration. The worst part of our stay was dealing with the host. Two days before our arrival, we received lengthy check-in instructions written in incomprehensible, rude text-speak. We were informed that bedding would not be provided. Coming from the UK—where bedding is always included—we were surprised. However, after traveling through Belgium, we realized it is relatively common in this region for hosts not to supply bedding. At the time, we were cycling through Belgium and already en route, so we didn’t have any with us. The host agreed to provide bedding for an additional fee. The instructions also stated that a €50 deposit had to be paid into a private account, and that we were responsible for cleaning the apartment after our stay, taking photos, and emailing them to the host in order to have the deposit returned. This would be unthinkable in the UK, but we followed the instructions nonetheless. Despite complying, we received a rude message in text-speak from the host, claiming we hadn’t sent the required photos. The deposit was eventually returned—two weeks later instead of the one week promised—and not in full; €10 was deducted without explanation. None of this was communicated to us at the time of booking, and the entire process was extremely unpleasant. I would recommend everyone to avoid this property.

Comfortable place to stay

Location was good, beds and furniture was comfortable and enough for 4 people. Swimming pool was nice and warm, parking spot also ok and the sort of private lagoon with sand around really nice environment.

The long list of all the things you have to do to before you check out is overwhelming, that is only applicable if you want to get your 50 euros deposit back. The stove top does not work 100%

Location was nice

Reading other bad reviews, I'm sure there'll be a dramatic response from the owner that I'm lying, but feel free to contact me for pics & videos if you would like proof. This was by far the worst stay in my 10 years in booking. From the first contact, the owner was really rude & condescending. He communicates with capitals & a million exclamation marks. He send us 'the rules' at least 5 times in whatsapp & booking. He also reminded us multiple times (not very friendly) to send proof of paying the deposit - which we had already done two days before. For someone so strict about rules & cleaning & deposits, we expected the apartment to be equal to those agreements. This isn't even worth €30 per night. The place was dirty, there were hairs on the matrass, dirty spots in the bathroom, food crumbles in the microwave & NO toiletpaper. As a response to our complaint, the owner offered us a '€10 discount'. It was Christmas Eve, stormy, all the stores were closed, and we didn't have the basics of basics. He didn't ask if we needed something or if we would be fine for the night. Reading the other reviews, I'm pretty sure he takes more than €10 from the previous guests deposit, when things are not according to his rules. So he paid us €10 euro to do the whole cleaning and probably put the rest from the deposit from previous renters in his own account. Besides feeling like we were treated like scum, the place was super noisy due to the wind; there's a constant screaming noise from the window not being wind&sound proof. The springs in the bed are horrible and you feel them with every move you make. Besides that, after more than a week, we had to remind the owner of sending us the deposit, which he didn't send to us in time or according to the agreement. Ofcourse he also didn't apologize, but only gave us a 'it's done this morning''.

Views from the balcony was amazing, but thats probably the only thing good about this property.

The location was nice. View from the balcony was absolutely amazing. Getting the keys was easy.

Well, there was a bad smell in the apartment as soon as we entered. So we had to open the sliding doors of the balcony for a few hours, which resulted in lots of mosquitoes getting in. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. You can feel almost all the springs on your body. In my opinion its way past its life and needs to be replaced. The other bed was also not very comfortable. No sheets, towels!! The owner did send us a message informing about it, but it was too late for us to cancel. The owner is extremely uptight about cleaning, and expects you to be a professional cleaner and have it completely ready for the next guest. Deposit was returned but only after me asking for it for days. You can get hotel rooms for around the same price in the area.

The pool was warm and freely available, good for rainy and cold days. Good view and trace.Aldi and Lidl are very close. Close to sea. Playground is close. Perfect for childeren.

Lacking basics. Good location

Good location, not too far from Bruges. Big enough for 3 people.

Were told the night before we arrived that towels and sheets would not be provided. This was not included in the listing description and is not ideal for people coming from different countries or if they are already in the country. No one wants to be lugging sheets around on holiday. On Booking.com it said that a €50 refundable damage deposit would be required but the host said the day before that it was a cleaning fee deposit, so if we didn't clean according to x standards we would forfeit the fee. This was not clear in the listing. There was a list of things we were required to clean before leaving. Also not made evident in the listing. Had to send video footage of cleaning afterwards. Upon arrival, the dishwasher needed to be unstacked. There was leftover ham in the fridge. No toilet paper! No hand soap in the bathroom. No salt, pepper or oil for cooking. No tea or coffee. You would think that the basics would be included. We only stayed one night so definitely thought the cleaning requirements were pretty excessive. If you want it cleaned, include the cleaning fee in the price for the room.

A parte che quando siamo arrivati era un po sporco ,il proprietario e stato disponibile a rispondere ma non ha reagito subito secondo le aspettative,diciamo che non si è impegnato molto a risolvere il problema a spostarsi o a comunicare a qualcuno del nostro problema subito ,un po delusi ma va bene lo stesso, per me bisognerebbe controllare bene prima dell arrivo delle persone le stanze,con la dovuta pulizia e tutto quello che riguarda la disposizione delle attrezzature, su quello che si utilizza durante il soggiorno, ci vuole spesso un accurato controllo delle cose,e anche un intervento quando succede qualcosa e non fare aspettare molto la gente..

Der Vermieter ist ein großer hinterhältiger Lügner. Seit beinahe 4 Wochen warte ich auf meine 50 € deposit welche ich ihm vor Eintritt in das Appartement überweisen musste. Ich fand eine extrem dreckige Wohnung vor, welche ich zunächst sauber zu machen hatte... überall Haare.. Krümel... Das Klo war vollgeschissen.. Schamhaare auf einem Tisch.. in den Ecken Staub und Essensreste etc Dies hatte ich auch gleich dem Vermieter mitgeteilt und zudem als Beweis Fotos gesendet. Bis heute hatte er mich wegen der Kaution hingehalten und nun mitgeteilt dass ich aufgrund irgendwelcher Beschwerden meine Kaution nicht erhalten werde. UND DAS, obwohl mein Kollege und ich, zusammen die Wohnung komplett gereinigt hatten mit Wischmop und Staubsauger und ihn auch dafür Beweisvideos und Fotos geschickt hatten. Das ist eine absolute Katastrophe dieser Vermieter und booking sollte diese Person sperren und bestrafen. Zudem war die Balkontür defekt- die ließ sich nicht verschließen- auch dies teilte ihh dem Vermieter mit... später entdeckte ich in den Kundenbewertungen, dass die Balkontür bereits seit über 2 Jahren als defekt gemeldet wurde. Der Vermieter kümmert sich also um überhaupt nichts. Er lockt mit einem günstigen Angebot und zockt dann auf diesen Wege- dass er die Kaution einbehält, seine Kunden ab. Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht und stinksauer- 50 € sind für mich viel Geld und ich hoffe das dieser Verbrecher gesperrt wird, damit nicht noch weitere Personen auf diesen Verbrecher reinfallen. Zudem gibt es NUR ein Zimmer und nicht Zwei. Auch dies ist eine Lüge.

Heel mooi uitzicht op het meer. Binnenzwembad aanwezig, ideaal bij slecht weer en leuk om s'avonds af te koelen bij warm weer. Speelpleintje in de buurt en op wandelafstand van het strand. Ook een mooi park dichtbij om in te wandelen.

Misschien eens een opfrisbeurt.

Propriétaire a garder caution prétexte mensonger pas reçu photos après ménage, « et taxes commune »

Le propriétaire nous a fait payer la location des draps douteux et a refusé de nous rendre la caution soit disant qu’il n’aura pas reçu les photos envoyées à 3 reprises après avoir nettoyé à la perfection et sans plainte du locataire suivant. Et prétextant aussi des taxes de séjour à la commune.

De locatie wellicht maar we zijn nooit binnengeraakt.

Bij reservering meteen melden dat er daags voor de reservatie een vraag tot betaling van een waarborg ging komen én dat er geen beddengoed aanwezig zou zijn. Wij kwamen tot al die vaststelling wanneer we al aan de deur. Ik was daags voordien en tot dan al de tijd op reis. Wij hebben toen een andere oplossing elders gezocht. Hadden wij al die info net voor de reservering, dan zouden wij onze voorzorgen kunnen nemen. Nu, het feit dat er geen beddengoed aanwezig ging zijn, is sowieso een showstopper, wij waren enkel met een heel klein rugzakje op stap.

Un agréable séjour

Appartement propre et fonctionnel avec une belle vue sur le lac au calme. L’accès à la piscine avec une large plage horaire est un vrai plus! Les enfants ont adoré. L’hôte est accueillant et disponible pour les questions. Le centre ville est proche. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation!

Tout était très bien mais s’il fallait améliorer quelque chose ça serait le changement du matelas du canapé convertible.

Instructions relatives au virement de la caution reçues trop tardivement et qui ont retardé notre entrée de plusieurs heures . Le propriétaire, sec par message laconique (en franglais alors qu'il maitrise à peu près le français), ne rend pas intégralement la caution de ménage de 50 euros, car il se prend le droit d'en extraire des "taxes de séjour" dont il ne nous informe ni au préalable ni même à la réservation, mais juste par SMS la veille de notre départ (surprise!). Ces taxes ne sont mentionnées nulle part sur BOOKING au moment de votre réservation, bien au contraire, il y est bien noté au niveau du tarif total " toutes taxes et frais inclus". De plus il n'est pas légal d'inclure une taxe de séjour sur une caution destinée exclusivement aux frais de ménage : Il est bien précisé sur BOOKING que cette caution de 50 euros couvre le ménage effectué par le locataire et éventuels dégradations : nous avons fait le ménage preuves à l'appui ( prévoir photos ou vidéos de sol mouillé SVP, exigées par le propriétaire...) donc aucune raison de ne pas récupérer la caution en totalité! De plus chantage à la caution par le propriétaire qui exige un avis sur BOOKING avant sa restitution.. on se sent donc forcé de mettre un bon avis. Le propriétaire n'a pas daigné changer les oreillers immondes de taches , sans se justifier, difficile pour ma famille et moi de dormir dans des conditions d'hygiènes inacceptables de la part d'un hébergeur. Ce Mr est apparemment plus soucieux de la propreté du sol que du confort et de l'accueil des locataires en laissant des oreillers, matelas et couvertures couverts de taches douteuses... il ne semble pas concerné par les mesures d'hygiène obligatoires surtout en période épidémiques (covid, grippe..) Propriétaire désagréable qui a gâché notre séjour.

Le lieu était sale, la caution "prise en otage" avec un forte pression derrière par rapport aux messages envoyés pour les conditions pour récupérer cette dite caution, il faut une preuve de cette caution pour avoir les infos sur le logement, il faut un nettoyage avec preuve en photo pour récupérer la photo alors que le nettoyage était inexistant avant, et il faut absolument mettre un commentaire sur booking et pas de plainte du locataire suivant pour récupérer la caution!!!!! Bref une honte
