    The amount of warnings about not cleaning and having to pay a deposit otherwise no further info for entry. At check-out you have to make pictures of a wet floor as proof that you mopped the floor. You have to take your own bedding, towels and toilet paper, this was not mentioned in the advertising on the website of booking . No proper double bed. No washing machine . Compelling nearly threatening instructions of the owner the clean the apartment, thereby staying there felt like not really relaxing

    It was nice that there was a swimming pool
    Blood-stained bedding—a disgusting sight. The owner doesn't check the bedding at all, and doesn't keep it clean. The apartment looks like someone's grandparents left behind. There's an unpleasant smell inside. Overall, I don't recommend it. The photos on Booking.com show three sofas, but there's only one sofa and one bed. Don't be fooled. The security deposit is refundable after a week—not true. I wasn't even informed of the intention to withhold my deposit under the pretext of numerous hairs. When I asked for photos, I received nothing. Overall, I don't recommend it. A liar and a fraud. I won't be adding any more photos of dirty, bloody sheets because no one wants to look at that...

    The property is not a two-bedroom apartment. It is a studio with a tiny kitchen and a single room that can be divided into two sections using a foldable screen. Overall, the space feels rather tired and is in need of redecoration. The worst part of our stay was dealing with the host. Two days before our arrival, we received lengthy check-in instructions written in incomprehensible, rude text-speak. We were informed that bedding would not be provided. Coming from the UK—where bedding is always included—we were surprised. However, after traveling through Belgium, we realized it is relatively common in this region for hosts not to supply bedding. At the time, we were cycling through Belgium and already en route, so we didn’t have any with us. The host agreed to provide bedding for an additional fee. The instructions also stated that a €50 deposit had to be paid into a private account, and that we were responsible for cleaning the apartment after our stay, taking photos, and emailing them to the host in order to have the deposit returned. This would be unthinkable in the UK, but we followed the instructions nonetheless. Despite complying, we received a rude message in text-speak from the host, claiming we hadn’t sent the required photos. The deposit was eventually returned—two weeks later instead of the one week promised—and not in full; €10 was deducted without explanation. None of this was communicated to us at the time of booking, and the entire process was extremely unpleasant. I would recommend everyone to avoid this property.

    Comfortable place to stay
    Location was good, beds and furniture was comfortable and enough for 4 people. Swimming pool was nice and warm, parking spot also ok and the sort of private lagoon with sand around really nice environment.
    The long list of all the things you have to do to before you check out is overwhelming, that is only applicable if you want to get your 50 euros deposit back. The stove top does not work 100%

    Reading other bad reviews, I'm sure there'll be a dramatic response from the owner that I'm lying, but feel free to contact me for pics & videos if you would like proof. This was by far the worst stay in my 10 years in booking. From the first contact, the owner was really rude & condescending. He communicates with capitals & a million exclamation marks. He send us 'the rules' at least 5 times in whatsapp & booking. He also reminded us multiple times (not very friendly) to send proof of paying the deposit - which we had already done two days before. For someone so strict about rules & cleaning & deposits, we expected the apartment to be equal to those agreements. This isn't even worth €30 per night. The place was dirty, there were hairs on the matrass, dirty spots in the bathroom, food crumbles in the microwave & NO toiletpaper. As a response to our complaint, the owner offered us a '€10 discount'. It was Christmas Eve, stormy, all the stores were closed, and we didn't have the basics of basics. He didn't ask if we needed something or if we would be fine for the night. Reading the other reviews, I'm pretty sure he takes more than €10 from the previous guests deposit, when things are not according to his rules. So he paid us €10 euro to do the whole cleaning and probably put the rest from the deposit from previous renters in his own account. Besides feeling like we were treated like scum, the place was super noisy due to the wind; there's a constant screaming noise from the window not being wind&sound proof. The springs in the bed are horrible and you feel them with every move you make. Besides that, after more than a week, we had to remind the owner of sending us the deposit, which he didn't send to us in time or according to the agreement. Ofcourse he also didn't apologize, but only gave us a 'it's done this morning''.
