Iron Horse Studio Retreat

The location was fantastic. Ski in/out but beware that the ski back to it as a blue run with the very beginning being on the harder side of blue. The hot tubs were nice and large. There’s shuttle buses around to take you too if preferred.

Somehow I missed that the bed is a murphy bed. It was not as bad as expected but not necessarily comfortable. Also to keep heat going you must keep the fireplace on. Nice ambience but a light distraction for those used to sleeping in pitch dark.

Very nice access to winter park slopes, summer fun... Ride your bike 🚲!

Check out time was not consistent, one site indicated 11a but the housekeeping came at 10a

The location to ski in and ski out was the best! The pool and hot tubs are very nice!

The 13 character code to get in the garage and enter the building was a pain! And in addition to this the different 8 character code for the condo unit door was another code to keep on hand. The unit, 2044 , was not well furnished. Only three bath towels , no pool towels. Only 3 soup/salad bowls, 3 spoons. We did ask for more and did receive them. The tub and stove top could have been cleaned better. We had a non functioning carbon monoxide detector but it was replaced when we asked. There was almost no space to put clothing for a weeks stay. The cabinets all were full or partially full with extra bedding and owners things.

Noisy outside of the condo due to elevator. Fridge inside was loud. Distance to lifts and base area. Had to pay for parking as Vacasa wouldn't allow early access to parking lot.
