Ski-In/Ski-Out Studio at Winter Park Base!

Location is exceptional. Good enough for 2 people. Just a few steps to pool and hot tab. Ski-in ski-out with lockers for ski. I would rent it next winter again!

Price was in-line with expectations for this type of condo, especially including indoor parking. Access to the slopes is via the top, 5th floor, via an interior bridge between buildings and an exterior bridge to the Cordoba cat track, with ski storage rooms near the building's exit. This was very convenient though return requires skiing Mary Jane, which can get bumpy in heavy snow, possibly making it difficult for some intermediate or lower skiers. Shuttles, if needed, are available from the base area with a very short ride back to the condo. Pool would have been nice had it been working. Hot tubs were hot and clean. Gym appeared well kept with a good variety of equipment available. Locker rooms/showers for the gym and pools were well maintained. Quiet...we slept well! Yes, I did get a waffle from the Waffle Cabin.....delicious! And, I've just learned that we have 3 fixed locations and 1 mobile in Michigan! I recommend starting with a plain waffle - get the full flavor of the waffle before adding all the fix-ins!

There were a few minor items to be repaired, which I reported. The refrigerator, IMO since I didn't have a thermometer, was just barely cold enough to perform its function - I reported this as well and hopefully this will be improved, soon. The freezer was plenty cold!

Once we figured out what was in the building and how to get to the slopes, it was great. The room was cozy, and the kitchen was set up nicely for such a small place. We especially appreciated the condiments, cooking oil, etc. that were there to help with our cooking.

Having a guide book with a map of the facilities at the resort, info about the bus system, etc. wouldn't hurt. The place has a lot more to offer than we realized!
