An exceptionally warm and thoughtful host, a spotless and perfectly equipped home – truly felt like our own summer house

I’m usually not someone who leaves reviews, but this time we truly had an amazing experience. Our host was beyond incredible – if I could give 100 out of 10, I would. On our first day, he gave us an introduction to the area and Hvar, brought us a bottle of wine produced by his friend, and even prepared a lovely wine platter. It was such a warm welcome. The house was spotless – it didn’t feel like a rental at all, but more like our own summer home. The balcony, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom were all perfectly equipped, and we didn’t miss a single thing during our 5-night stay. It was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully taken care of. When we were leaving, our host even gave us some local gifts to remember our trip. We truly hope to meet again on our future holidays.

The only downside was that the direct road between Hvar Town and the district we stayed in was closed, so the route to Hvar Town was longer and more challenging. However, for those looking to relax and not planning to visit the main town often, this house is absolutely perfect.

Beautiful island life experience with great views

Great location with wonderful hosts who made us feel welcome and helped us with everything we asked. The balcony was a real highlight as we could watch the dolphins swim by each day. The nearby beach is also great for kids and swimming.

Awesome hosts, beautiful view from the terrace, paradise beach in walking distance

The view of the terrace is awesome. You simply feel the sea and at night you have a sky full of stars. Our host were awesome! We were welcomed by a plate of cheese and a bottle of red wine. Frane (the host) is available all the time and answers all questions very short-term. We had a technical problem with our parasol and he came to fix it within 5 minutes and even brought a completely new one the next day. Additionally, Frane and his wife one evening served us local grilled fish and vegetables from their own garden. The taste was better than served in many restaurants! In walking distance is one of the most beautiful beaches Hvar offers: Sveta Nedjelja Beach, within 5 minutes drive you arrive Jagodna Beach, also a paradise beach. Highly recommend this place if you search for a rekk look relaxing vacation!

Our stay at the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was an absolute dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that greeted us each morning and the warm, crystal-clear waters of the nearby beach that beckoned us to unwind and bask in the sun. The apartment itself was a true gem, meticulously maintained and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and luxurious vacation. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after days filled with adventures. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking balcony, offering panoramic vistas of the picturesque coastline and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Whether sipping our morning coffee or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset, the view never failed to leave us in awe. The location of the apartment couldn't have been better - just a short stroll to the beach and conveniently close to charming restaurants. We found ourselves exploring the enchanting town of Hvar, since it was only an hour drive away. Small town of Sv. Nedilja offered everything we needed day to day; a cute bakery, three different restaurants and a mini market. During our stay we needed to go for only one bigger grocery shopping in Jelsa, 25 min away. What truly made our experience exceptional was the hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and were always available to provide valuable recommendations and assistance whenever needed. All in all, our vacation in Sv. Nedilja was an unforgettable experience, thanks to this incredible apartment. We cannot recommend it highly enough - a solid 10/10! We are already counting down the days until we can return and relive the magic of this paradise by the sea. Thank you for making our vacation truly extraordinary!

beautiful location and amazing hosts !

The location was incredible. Such a beautiful and peaceful village close to some of the most beautiful beaches on Hvar. The hosts Frane & Tea were amazing treating us to a delicious welcome platter on arrival and delicious wine. They also made us the most tt incredible dinner on another evening which was just so lovely and generous. Frane was super helpful with anything we needed. The apartment had everything we needed and we loved staying in and cooking and sitting out on the huge terrace looking out to sea or walking down to jump in the water. Couldn't recommend this place enough! We wish we could have stayed longer and we will definitely be back

The best stay on this vacation :)

Very clean apartment, new furniture, a large platter with cheese and vegetables and a bottle of good wine awaited us upon arrival. On the last evening, the hosts invited us to a wonderful dinner (photo attached).

the homeowners were absolutely great, welcoming us with a nice plate of their own veggies and cheese as well as a local wine bottle. They are available anytime for any question or help. As there is no big shop near by they even proposed us to go to the shop for us few times when they could! Also they are full of precious advises about the area. I definitely advise anyone to go there as the place is very quiet and with wonderful view and sea. Best side of the Hvar Island.

Sea view is not everything

To be honest, I am not sure how this accommodation has so extraordinary reviews, but of course I can only rate the accommodation I rented and not the other ones they have. I am a (very) frequently traveller for my job and work for travel magazines, and from my experience I can say, the accommodation was average - not more, but also not less. It had a nice view from the balcony. And the Wifi was stable. Privat parking was directly in front of the house which was convenient.

A biggest minus was the lack of privacy. We were not able to sit on our balcony in private, not even able to talk normally, because it is a shared balcony with the neighbour, only divided by a plexiglass door. It was not possible to have a morning tea without being completely dressed because the neighbours were able to see (and hear) everything. The kitchen was only equipped with the basics. It was not possible to cook properly, there wasn't even a sieve for pasta. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. The duvet cover was more a thin and very hard towel. Not enough for a fresh night. And there was no extra blanket. We had to take towels to use as extra blankets which is not acceptable. The ventilation of the bathroom did not work, one had to leave to door open to let the air circulate with the result that the rest of the flat smelled like... well... bathroom... even the kitchen... The whole apartment is not really decorated, one cannot feel cozy and at home. White walls with no decoration, only bright ceiling lamps (the kitchenette had none!), the "living area" was only an uncomfortable sofa bed. The balcony had such a small table that it was not possible to eat outside - at least if you don't want to eat on your own. The location is only convenient if one wants to stay on location for the whole time. If you want to discover the island, you have to drive for example 50 minutes to Hvar town and 40 mins. to Stari Grad. Jelsa is around 30 mins. And that would be the closest (also for petrol station, supermarkets etc) One has to pass a very narrow (one lane with traffic lights) and dark and almost 2km long tunnel - which is not everybody's cup of tea, especially at night (we were ok but I know a lot of people who would have struggled).

A beautiful place, well kept, worth the visit!

We had a very pleasant stay. The owners were very friendly, the apartment was very clean and comfortable. They even got us a baby chair for our small one. The location could not be better. It was peaceful and quiet. There were a lot of birds and we could spot some dolphins from our balcony which was fantastic! We would love to return one day!

Only one small thing. In the pictures from the apartment we chose one could think there was a roof terrace everyone could use. Unfortunately it belonged to another apartment.

Just perfect!

Everything. This was a great accommodation. The equipment of the apartment and the service you get is exactly in line what you would expect for this money to get. It is perfectly clean, modern, it has large terrace with a beautiful view. Air condition is in each bedroom and also in living room, which was very comfortable. Also, the private parking place is just next to the apartment, so you do not need to go long way with your bags. It is located on a very quite place. The landlord - Frano and his girlfriend are very nice, and they were making our stay as nice as possible. We would like to thank also for the great fish we got and the presents. We will return for sure. Thanks a lot!

Amazing stay in Sveta Nedelja at Apartments Toro, highly recommend

The apartment and the hospitality of the host was amazing, everything was perfect, the house is almost on the coast, it was modern, clean, big and with a nice balcony. The host also contacted us upfront to assist us in crossing the sea and in getting to the house, they also cooked and served us a tasteful dinner, we really appreciated it. The town is also among the best on the island, with a beautiful landscape and beach. Highly recommend.

Thank you, Tea and Frane, for making our vacation a PERFECT one! In my many years of travels I gave out a few 10s while reviewing my stays - but, honestly, never have I ever felt it was so well deserved. The appartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, very tastefully designed, everything is brand new and of good quality. The kitchen is very well equipped (including dish washer and coffee machine). The view from the balcony can really take your breath away! The house is situated just above the famous solitary pine tree where you can watch beautiful sunsets with a stunning view of the Sveta Nedjelja's cliffs. It is literally a 60 seconds walk from the apartment to the sea. The wonderful Hosts really go an extra mile for their guests to feel special - we were welcomed with a cheese & veggies platter and a bottle of a great wine (so good!), but our minds were really blown away with a home-cooked meal they prepared for us the next day - we unanimously concluded that it was the best dinner we got on Hvar (fresh grilled sea bass and vegetables from the Hosts' garden). Personally I find it really hard to find Hosts like that - a perfect balance between being attentive, informative, warm etc. while at the same time not being pushy or intrusive at all. Regarding the Sveta Nedjelja itself: part of me would like to keep this gem to myself so it could stay the way it is: a serene peace of heaven on the edge of the world:) I've travelled the Balkans, including Croatia, back and forth - and it truly doesn't get any better than Sveta, for me it's simply the most beautiful place you can stay at in the region:) I strongly recommend booking your stay here - it's a great starting point for road trips around the island, which has got a lot to offer - not only picturesque towns like Stari Grad and Hvar, but also a lot of hidden attractions, like the villages of Humac and Malo Grablje. We will be definitely coming back, that's a promise!:)

Spacious and comfortable apartment with all the equipment that is needed. Looks better than on pictures. Very close to the sea. Very good access by car and a big parking - which is not obvious in Croatia. We've been given some local wine at start our stay and hosts served us a delicious fish dinner. Big plus for washing machine. 10/10

Fantastischer Aufenthalt

Extrem gastfreundlicher, aufmerksamer und hilfsbereiter Vermieter! Eine sehr saubere, extrem großzügige Unterkunft mit allem, was man braucht! Super Lage (1 min fußläufig zum Meer, 1 min zu einem kleinen Supermarkt). Besonders toll fanden wir, dass man vom Bett aus das Meer sehen kann :)
