Greystone Lodge 314

Great spot just outside the main village, could see that it would be pretty epic for a snow holiday but we were there during summer. Very spacious setup with this effectively being 2 apartments combined so there is a big bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge downstairs then another bedroom on a mezzanine above the kitchen/lounge. Communal pool and hot tub on the ground level. Underground parking garage was really good. Good value for money over summer. Note that the extractor fan in the bathroom closest to the bedroom operates via a dial just along the hall towards the bedroom, took us a while to figure that out.

No AC, so for a summer stay during the night we needed to leave the door to the balcony open to try stay cool which wasn't that effective. Bed was huge but has seen better days so probably time for an upgrade.

A nice, quiet location a short walk/ski to Blackcomb gondola. Pool and two hot tubs were appropriately sized for the property. Room was plenty spacious. Actually it was two adjacent units, one a basic hotel room, the other a loft kitchen unit joined by a pass-through door.

Dated. Definitely needs some updates. No fry pan when we arrived and it took quite a bit of convincing them that there was actually none on site. First I called and was told it was not on the amenities list. Really? It took numerous texts to actually get them to deliver the pan. The fan in one bathroom would not turn off and I reported it but nothing was done. Same with a falling valence on one of the blinds. Only by luck did we meet the facility repair guy who informed us that the fan is controlled by the switch in the bathroom and another dial down the hall. Poorly appointed in comparison to other places I have rented. No peeler and only one large stainless mixing bowl. This place was not cheap ($600+ USD/night). I expected better.

The place is in an excellent location, quiet and private but closer enough to the village! Beds were super comfortable and place was so spacious. Parking was free which was an amazing bonus!

The place had a smell of curry, we opened the doors to air the spaces but other than that, everything fantastic!

Very spacious for our family of 5. Underground parking and bike storage were safe. The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed. The kids had fun in the pool and hot tub as well.

The carpet in the bedroom was old and stained. The king sized bed was also old and is ready to be replaced. There were also 2 brown « chocolate chips » on the dining room table… not sure what they were.
