Hotel Sethi Legacy

Conveniently located on the wide road with ample parking space and easy access to train, buses and Ganges. Spick and span property with Indian heritage inspired interiors. You can see that they have really put in efforts to make the stay comfortable for the guests. I loved things like cloth line in the washroom, nice toileteries and a good quality towels. Staff is hospitable and warm. The restaurants serves good meal options.

There was nothing to dislike.

I had beyond an amazing experience here. I originally booked for only a few nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks. Everyday I was met with amazing staff who helped me with autos and prepared amazing food. I stayed in 3 different rooms over the course of my stay, each room was STUNNING and well maintained. It’s so well located, removed from some of the madness but a close walk to all the main areas. It also was on a nice street near the Ganges. I’m considering coming back very soon I just loved this property so much thank you to all who helped and looked after me, it meant the world! I’ve been traveling for a very long time and this was a perfect end of my 3 months in India.

Unfortunately we had an accident of a large sum of money disappearing from my suitcase (which wasn’t locked) after a cleaning. A smaller sum also was missing in the wallet of another group member after the same cleaning (the wallet was left in the room). Management tried to look in the cameras but with not much success. They offered to involve police but we didn’t want to spend our precious time during Navaratri talking to police with not much hope. We received a sincere apology and it was very sad as everything else was really perfect.
