It is all about location! And you cannot get a better location than this, as it is less than 5 minutes from Westlake Corner shopping and entertainment venues, to include Kroger, Westlake Cinema, Hot Shots Mini Golf, and many area restaurants and shops. Do note that most of the other rentals on SML can be 30+ minutes to nearest amenities.

Located on a quiet cove on SML, this modern vacation home is being offered as a 2-bedroom, 3.5 bath, with an additional Murphy bed available in the entertainment basement. The property is loaded with amenities, to include high-speed WIFI, upgraded appliances, kayaks, and available covered boat slip.

Bring your golf clubs, as this property is conveniently located within walking distance of Copper Cove Golf Course. After a day on the water, golfing, or enjoying the many activities on SML, relax and enjoy the view, or watch the wildlife from three decks located on each level.

Home Layout:
The main floor includes an updated and outfitted kitchen, that includes quartz counter-tops, modern glass tile back-splash, and high-end stainless appliances. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with all small appliances to include Keurig along with a sample selection of teas and coffee pods, full size coffee pot, toaster, large griddle, mixer, utensils, dishes and pots and pans so you can bring out your inner chef.

Enjoy the waterfront view while grilling and dining on the main level deck. The convenient open floor plan gives you access to enjoy your family from the kitchen, dining room table for six, and the quiet living room. If you need to get some work in, you can enjoy your view of the water while you work from the corner desk and chair.

As you wind down your day, enjoy the sunset over the water from your own private 3rd floor master bedroom deck with bistro table and chairs. Then sink into the master bedroom’s queen bed with pillow top mattress, and lots of pillows. A large walk-in closet, nightstands, and tall dresser assures there is plenty of storage. Included in the master for your convenience, is a full-length mirror, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and 43” 4K HD Smart TV. The en-suite bathroom has been stylishly updated with a walk-in shower, Jacuzzi tub, full mirror, and plenty of counter space and storage for personal items.

Down the hall is a second guest bedroom with a queen bed with a pillow-top mattress, plenty of pillows, nightstands, 43” 4K HD Smart TV, full closet and large en-suite bathroom with large tub and shower combo. A pack-and-play portable crib and baby gate are also available for use. A hall located washer and dryer completes the 3rd floor.

The ground level basement entertainment room is set up with a large chase sofa, chairs, ottomans, gas fireplace, new 75” 4K HD Smart TV with surround sound, Blue-Ray DVD, additional HDMI hookups for gaming systems, professional foosball table, plus an assortment of books and board games for your use. A queen size murphy bed, with memory foam mattress adds additional sleeping space for your guests. A full-size basement bathroom with a tub and shower combo, and plenty of towel racks is ready after your post swim or boating rinse down.

Enjoy your coffee or relax in the screened in porch with ceiling fan, reclining couch, and additional chairs, that are located just outside the basement door.

Lay out and enjoy the sun or have a picnic lunch on the large party deck above the boat dock, or swim and fish from either of the floating swim docks. Kayaks, oars, floaties and assorted PFD’s are available for your use on the dock.

Additional Details:

Linens: Sheets, bath towels, and kitchen towels are included in your rental cost.

Consumables: Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and hand soap, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and various seasonings and cooking oils are all provided at no charge. There is a Kroger 5min away, so you can easily purchase groceries once you arrive.

Boat Mooring: The on-site and covered boat slip is available for use at no charge. Boat mooring on the swim dock is only allowed during daylight hours. Please contact owner before renting if you plan on bringing and/or mooring a boat.

Boat Ramp and Trailer/RV Parking: Trailer and RV parking on site is not allowed, however the owner can give access to a free and secured storage lot nearby or you are welcome to park your trailer in the cul-de-sac at top of the hill. There is a boat ramp near Westlake Waterfront Inn, less than a mile away.

Stairs and ADA Compliance: Do note that this property is not ADA compliant and has a large number of interior and exterior stairs.

Smoking and pets: Due to our guests’ and owner's allergen concerns, smoking, vaping and pets are not allowed at any time. Security deposit will not be returned due to cleaning from smoking, vaping or pets.

Taxes: We are required to collect the below taxes and cannot remove or change these.
-Virginia State General Sales Tax: 4.3%
-Franklin County General Sales Tax: 1%
-Franklin County Accommodations Tax: 7%

Preparing for your stay: You will be dealing directly with the owners of the property, not a management company. The owners are local to the area and quality check the unit before your arrival, and should you have any questions, are here to help you prepare for your stay.
