About this house rental
Water's Edge Cottage is a high-end, single family home located in Harbor Village Resort on the waterfront of St. Joseph, Michigan. The home features four bedrooms, a sunroom with queen sofa bed, and 3.5 baths. The first floor master suite offers a walk-in closet, a Temperpedic split king, and spacious walk-in shower.. The upper level boasts three bedrooms featuring another king bedroom, a queen bedroom, a room with two twins, as well as two full bathrooms. All bedrooms have black curtains for easy sleeping. The pull out queen sofa in the sunroom brings the sleeping capacity of the home to ten guests. All the bedrooms have smart TVs with You Tube TV provided. . A fiber optic wireless internet system offers plenty of bandwidth for streaming, gaming, and Zoom calls. A Finnish, two person sauna is also provided in the garage area of our home. Our unique location allows you to launch our kayaks or paddle boards right off our front yard. We provide two Old Town kayaks, two paddleboards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, cornhole, and more.
If you want to experience some of Lake Michigan's best beaches, it is five minute drive to Tiscornia Beach and Jean Klock Park. Just a few steps from our home is Harbor Village's community pool. Your stay with us includes a pass for your guests to enjoy the community pool and changing rooms. Golfing? The Jack Nicklaus designed Harbor Shores Golf Course is just across the street from Harbor Village. If you prefer to enjoy time around the house, linger on our front porch overlooking the Paw Paw River or relax in our two story, great room with cushy couches from the Pottery Barn with a 65 inch TV and Bose speaker system. Love the sun? Unwind in our sunroom with views of yachts and lake freighters just off the Harbor Shores Marina. A three minute walk takes you to the Inn at Harbor Shores to experience great food, enjoy their full spa services, or to wander the marina. A fifteen minute walk lands you in the charm of downtown St. Joseph with its array of specialty shops, restaurants, and parks.
Enjoy cooking? Create meals in our spacious kitchen with quartz countertops, gas range, French door refrigerator, and full compliment of cookware, dishes and small appliances. Brew your favorite hot beverage in our Nespresso Latte machine or Keurig coffee maker. If you wish, grill and eat outdoors on our private patio with bbq grill. Cool evenings are perfect for our two indoor fireplaces or our private, gas fire pit. We had an amazing week in this beautiful home! They had everything you could possibly need and it felt like a home away from home. It was so clean and we loved the beach decor. The pool was refreshing and the kids loved swimming everyday, the beach was a short drive away and there was plenty to do in town with delicious restaurants and plenty of shopping. The house has a beautiful view of the river and there is a wonderful restaurant (Planks Tavern) within walking distance. The Owners were very responsive and were so kind every time we communicated with them. We definitely recommend this home!

Plenty of space and great location! Close enough to get to Silver Beach in a five minute drive. Pool for the complex was wonderful. We had four children four and under so the pool was a hit! We would definitely stay here again.

The owner and host were all very responsive/communicative, the home was stocked with everything we needed, and it was clean and lovely. The playroom had so many games. Well done! The community pool was a big hit with our grandkids and the town had so much to do for kids and adults alike. The whole vacation was wonderful, and the house was the cherry on top. So comfortable, and so nice not to have a monster checklist of things to do at checkout like most VRBOs. Thank you!

Family vacation...house is close to everything that is St Joe.... HOA has plenty of rules ... so we were conscious of those.... kids enjoyed the pool immensely....you are located in front of the river.... kayaks were provided but area is grown up, so you need to pay attention to critters hiding....but you are paying for the location....
