Well located, luxurious villa in a peaceful private area close to Alhaurin De La Torre.

Nadége our ‘host’ was fantastic, very prompt with communication. She was so helpful and took any stress away. The villa itself if beautiful, very secluded but in an excellent central location. It was spotlessly clean and had every facility you could wish for. We paid extra for pool heating this was just lovely, we spent hours in the pool every day. The beds were all very comfortable which is a real luxury, all 11 adults & 2 kids of us slept very well. The kitchen layout is odd but to eat out in Alhaurin is nearly cheaper than buying food! We are booking to come again next year!!

Het was prima, wel eenmalig. We gaan overigens nooit twee keer naar zelfde locatie.

Vliegveld is 20 minuten met de auto. De buitenkant van het huis was prima en voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Zwembad is niet groot maar wel prima. In de zomer is verwarming van het zwembad uiteraard niet nodig. De tafeltennistafel was goed en is veel door ons gebruikt. Dartbord niet veel gebruikt. Darts hebben allemaal kromme punt. De BBQ buiten voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Er waren precies genoeg (goede) ligbedden voor 9 personen. Ook voldoende zitplaatsen als je niet wil liggen. De eettafel buiten is groot genoeg voor grote groep. Op paar plekken is het door de breedte van de tafel en de pilaren wel lastig om aan de tafel te gaan zitten. De koelkast buiten is handig voor drank. Contact met beheerderes was goed. Ze kwam binnen een uur toen we een probleempje hadden. Doordat we al een vroege vlucht hadden waren we veel eerder ter plaatse dan de tijd van sleuteloverdracht. We konden gelukkig wel onze spullen bij het huis neerzetten. Supermarkt (Lidl) is met de auto een rit van minder dan 10 minuten. Prijzen in supermarkt zijn een verademing als je gewend aan de prijzen in NL.

Er waren erg veel mieren en wespen. Vooral de mieren zijn hinderlijk. Ze komen binnen en kruipen overal in, ook in broodzakken die dichtgeknoopt zijn bijvoorbeeld. De keuken vond ik onhandig klein voor grotere groep. Verder paar keer hoofd gestoten tegen punt van afzuigkap. Koelkast binnen is te klein en onhandig ingedeeld. Te groot vriesgedeelte ten opzichte van het koelgedeelte. Het opbergvak in de deur was stuk en kon niet gebruikt worden. Ik heb dat gemeld maar dat was al bekend. Zou fijn zijn als dat ding was vervangen. Bedden liggen goed maar zijn wel wat laag voor de iets oudere mens. In een van de slaapkamers in het bijgebouw zijn de gordijnen te kort waardoor het niet volledig verduisterd kan worden. Het huis ligt toch iets meer afgelegen dan het lijkt. Uberchauffeur kon het niet direct vinden. Dorp is alleen per auto te bereiken, daarom nog een extra auto gehuurd. De toegangsweg naar het huis kan wel wat onderhoud gebruiken. Er zitten forse gaten in die weg. Bij de toegangspoort (vanaf de openbare weg) zou het riet wel wat mogen worden gesnoeid. Wifi was helaas niet optimaal. We moesten de eigen 5G gebruiken.

Le calme, le très beau jardin, la piscine chauffée, le mobilier extérieur suffisant (transat), le coin BBQ, le frigo extérieur, les grandes chambres + sdb, la literie. Bien situé.

Manque d'étagères dans les salles de bain, de tablettes dans les douches, de barres pour serviettes. Cafetière ne fonctionne pas bien. Wok non adapté aux plaques à induction.
