The Bath Retreat - City Centre - Parking

Fantastic location, so close to everything! Great communication with the owner throughout the whole experience. Lovely spacious apartment for two people. Great parking facilities!

It was quite stuffy, so we had to keep the door open sometimes but that did not ruin our stay!

Great central location. Parking was a bonus and a very well thought out car turntable. Everything we needed. Very comfortable.

The apartment was very comfortable and had all of the amenities necessary for a great stay. It was in a perfect location, walking distance to everything you would want to see. There were lots of grocery stores and restaurant options around. The host was very communicative.

We knew this when we booked it, that there were some comments about the noise previously. Between the neighbors upstairs, the normal street noise outside of the bedroom area, and construction they were doing on the street until late in the night. It was very noisy. It did disrupt our sleep a little bit. As I stated, we knew this going into it and the host is not to blame for that.

The parking is very tight but having it is always good. For reference we have a small SUV and it was just ok. Not sure I'd risk a bigger car. The location to the main centre was ideal. 5 mins to the Roman baths. The communication with host was good

We wanted a mix of relaxation and touristic things. Relaxing was very limited. The sofa was so uncomfortable! Basically like sitting on a piece of wood. We ending up using the pillows as extra cushions. Be aware it is a basement flat. Although we assumed there would be some noise the noise/banging from the tenants above was so loud at times that it's all you could focus on. We did message the host who said they had messaged the tenants to ask them to be quieter, but they left the next day so not sure what impact it actually had.
