Dream views on the sea shore of Platja d'Aro

Our stay at this beachfront apartment was fabulous. We enjoyed every moment! The place is well equipped, nothing missing, the host has been very helpful, kind and communicative! We hope to be staying again in the future.

Très bel appartement, bien situé en première ligne face à la mer.Il faut passer à l'agence à Santa Cristina pour récupérer les clés, (non noté dans descriptif).Appartement très propre et très bien équipé, bravo!il y a deux lits, un en 160 et un en 140 et non pas deux en 160...Très belle balade pour faire des footings qui peuvent être prolongés sur le camino de ronda le long du littoral.Deux trois restos très sympas le long du bord de mer pas très loin de l'appartement.On peut aller au centre-ville à pied ...10 minutes. Nous avons pu petit déjeuner sur la terrasse très sympa et au soleil. A midi, un peu plus frais car à l'ombre ...Très bon séjour.

First of all, we arrived at the building and it was absolutely freezing in the building and in the apartment. All the blinds were down so the beautiful morning sun could not have warmed the place up. Luckily there were several space heaters and the wall unit that heated the place up after a little more than an hour. The pipes under the sink in the bathroom started leaking in the first hours. Pere came over and fixed within a few hours. The glasses in the cupboard and some pots were dirty. Someone was sent the next day to wash up, didn’t do the wine glasses. Part of the problem is that there is no rinse agent in the dishwasher so the glasses come out streaky. The greasiness didn’t come from the dishwasher. There’s no dish towel to dry the dishes. The tables in the living room are a little worse for the wear and were dirty. Whatever was on one of them, something pink, we also saw in the shower. The light in the kitchen is full of dead bugs. The shower also had a leak near the head, it had been repaired with tape, but there was still a leak. The shower drain was partially blocked, so you are standing in water, I tried not to think about this too much. There is no place to hang wet towels, no towel racks. The shower is teeny tiny. You can’t close the bathroom door when the toilet seat is down. There’s a broken shoe cupboard in the front hall, door missing. There was a half roll of toilet paper, no more, no paper towels or rags to clean up messes and only one very large garbage bag. We could only take the garbage out on the last day. The nespresso coffee machine didn’t work right. My husband managed to make coffee by holding the cup in place…I couldn’t figure it out. The sheets were rough. There was a spot on a pillow case. There’s only one beach chair. I put a towel at the bottom of the door to the apartment because there was a lot of cold air coming in. The place has great potential, a beautiful view. You can see the sun rise, the stars over the Mediterranean sea. It’s important to know it’s not a place someone lives , it’s just a rental. I felt it important to give this feedback so the owners can make the place a little more kept up and welcoming.
