About this cabin rental
This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bbbath cabin is nestled in the center of the Ocooch Mountain Range. Sit outside on one of the porches, enjoy nature at its absolute best and hear the ripple of the Bad Axe River. Anglers from across the country have come to test their skills in many of the area's top producing trout streams. The Bad Axe River runs alongside the cabin and is accessible at the bottom of the hill or via trail from the property. This cozy cabin features a living room, dining area, bathroom w/laundry and bedroom on the main floor, spacious bedroom in the loft, and a finished lower level that includes a bedroom, bathroom, family room with a small bar area and walk out patio. HeOne mile to the Norwegian Hollow Hideaway Bar & Grill. Only 15 min to Viroqua, 40 min S of LaCrosse, 2 hrs NW of Madison.

Pretty, remote, & peaceful. We loved the layout. It was great for my husband, me, & our adult son. He had the basement to himself. No one stayed in the loft. Our 2 furbabies came along (much appreciated!) & they didn't like the stairs to the loft (wood), but they went to the basement (carpeted). The fireplace is lovely, but it makes a beep that upset our dog when I used the remote or it turned on & off. So we couldn't use it. The tv was nice, but very confusing. We tried to get our apps pulled up to watch some things we do at home & finally gave up. Our phones synced w/it, but still couldn't get things right. But you get lots of other choices. The kitchen is awesome! Well planned & everything you should need to cook. Coffee pot is a Ninja, so bring ground coffee for a mesh filter. Everything there was very clean & the decor was really nice. We were surprised to find onange "ladybugs" pretty much anywhere we went inside. I think it was due to the season. (Temps were dropping) No spiders though!

The cabin was very comfortable. The only comment that I would make is that it would have been nice to have a starting supply of coffee, shampoo, soap especially since stores are such a distance away and not easy to get to.

A fantastic home away from home with great amenities and cozy atmosphere. Would definitely love to stay here again.

My husband and I needed a short "spring break" and this house was perfect for my husband to fish in the river next to the property and for me to drive around the Driftless area taking photos. There is plenty of room for 6 adults but it was only the 2 of us on this trip. We used the king bed in the loft. The only thing we would have added would be blinds on the windows in the loft to make it darker in the morning for sleeping. There isn't an indoor fireplace but there is a fire pit outside. We wanted to enjoy a fire but it was too windy.
