Marina Beach Holiday Home

We enjoyed the location in the quiet part of town. Lots of room to chill out separately, or get together to play Pool.

The keys were a mystery, none marked with coloured dots. Ensuite sink was backing up. The inverter was noisy and annoying. The hot water tank made Rat-a-rat-rat noises at one stage. The boat parked next to us in the garage made it very hard to manoeuvre in and out. The trailer sticks out beyond the park space and is impossible to see as it’s low to the ground. Which lock box? After a long journey you want things to be clear.

Fantastic location close to beach and Marina.

The property smelled mouldy. No WIFI, which really is a ‘must-have’ these days, especially in an area with limited mobile phone reception. Pressure from property management to pay in advance and outside of Booking.com website and a $500 security bond.

Location was nice right on the beach. Very spacious.

Weren’t informed with property information to access the property, had to call a bunch of random numbers on google from the company at 7.30pm to try and see if anyone could put us onto the property manager while standing around the front of the property with my 4 kids! One of the bedrooms had a mouldy wet carpet in the top corner which made a very strong smell. Also found a pair of men’s underwear underneath the bed. One morning was locked in the apartment as the key wouldn’t turn. Quite a few things at this property were broken (toilet seat, hole in the door, pool table corner ect) The pool was filthy, and had items on the bottom. Unfortunately there where more bad points to good. This property definitely needs a bit of TLC.
