Marla is an excellent and gracious host, offering many suggestions on restaurants in the area. She also helped with bus reservations to Toraja and suggested an excellent tour guide for Toraga, Astro. We also booked a tour to the Rammang/Leong areas through her and were very pleased. I would highly recommend staying here and asking her for advice and suggestions.

A wonderful homestay. So clean and comfortable and centrally located. Staff were kind and caring. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money.

The room was clean

- The room did not have wifi, which was an issue for me as I needed to work. Fortunately, the 4G coverage in the area is good so I was able to use my hotspot for meetings. - There was no coffee available, although this was mentioned in the listing. Despite asking, we were told coffee could not be provided. - There was no water refill station. Though the host did very kindly give us small bottles of water, a lack of refill resulted in a lot of plastic waste over just two nights - The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was quite noisy and needs some maintenance - There was a long list of house rules that felt somewhat strict. For example, guests are not allowed to return after 10 PM as they lock the door at that time, and we were told to leave the room key downstairs when going out, which felt a bit unusual and uncomfortable.
