Houthaven Apartments

The location is great. Unlink most of the accommodation they had modern apartments with all amenities. Very close to central location. Bus stop just around the corner. Best thing was that staff were very responsive. The moment you ask for something they take care of the same.

Facilities in the house can be improved by taking care of some basic things. Washing machine needs to replaced since it runs fine but doesn’t clean clothes. Toaster was not there which is common, kitchen towels/tissues can be arranged.

So spacious and clean.

There is nothing we didn’t like about this property. We had overall a great stay.

Great apartments in a really nice neighbourhood which was a lot more peaceful than staying right in the centre of town. Very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed for my parents and toddler. Supermarket and great kids playground (or place for adults to picnic) 5 minutes away. Easy to jump on the bus into Central or walk to Jordaan. Good value for money in a city that is notoriously expensive for accommodation. Very good communication with hosts who even retrieved a jacket my husband accidentally left in a closet. Thank-you!

The apartment was clean and practical for our trip.

We wrote ahead to the property to ask that two separate beds were made up as we were two friends travelling together. A studio couch that was for a child was made up for one of us which meant little sleep was had. Dealing with the AI bot that manages the communication was not helpful. We would NOT recommend for anyone who needs to use more than one double bed.
