Apartment Skendy

This is a cosy apartment with all the things you need in a local neighbourhood. It was spacious and comfortable with homely touches through out. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed the renovated bathroom. While we didn't use the kitchen much, it was appreciated and having a little living area was nice too. Djenis was very helpful and greeted us on arrival and check out. The neighbourhood is safe and a short walk into the centre with nice takeaway spots and a corner store one block away. We would highly recommend staying here, especially for a longer stay in Sarajevo.

Some of the lights didn't work in the kitchen and bedroom, was a bit inconvenient at night. Djenis mentioned there were some issues they were going to fix.

Excellent location. 15 minutes to old town. Lots of places to eat nearby. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had all necessary items to cook small meals. Washing machine worked good for small loads. Good wifi in bedroom, wifi a little weak in kitchen/living area. Good water pressure in shower. Excellent communication with host. Highly recommend this place for short or long stays.

I loved the place because it’s like the pictures. Location is perfect because the sights are just few minutes walk. Great restaurants and bars too. I stayed there for 10 days and even I cooked and everything was excellent. WiFi works perfectly too.

Perhaps it’s located on the 4 floor and not lift .

Location is great! The apartment is spacious.

The cleanliness is debatable. We found many long black hairs on the shower floor and some stuff leaked in the fridge. I would recommend the owners to loose one of the many carpets, pillows, plushies and other fabricated things in the apartment since they all smell awful and doesn’t do the cleanliness of the apartment any good. While the son (owner) we communicated with was lovely, we had a very strange encounter with presumably the mother of the owner. We had confirmed that we would leave at 09:00 on January first, but at 08:30 she started ringing the doorbell and eventually opened the door to try to come into the apartment. This didn’t make any sense to us, we just cleared with everyone that we would check-out at 09:00? Unfortunately she did not apologize and just stated that we had to leave as soon as possible because she needed the time to clean the apartment. While we hurried to gather our things (mind you it is January first?!) she waited outside of the door which made us feel even more rushed. Extremely weird and unprofessional. If you’re looking for a proper clean and relaxed stay, I would recommend you to go somewhere else.
