Ski Access: This property offers convenient ski access through the neighborhood trail system, but it is important to note that it is not a true ski-in/ski-out property. During periods of adequate snow, you can access the neighborhood trail system from the property and ski via the Home Again trail to Base Lodge, where you can connect to the rest of Whitefish Mountain Resort. For your return, the Elk Highlands Lift provides access back to the neighborhood trail system when the lift is operating and snow conditions permit. Please be aware that snow conditions can vary throughout the season. There may be times when the neighborhood trails are not sufficiently covered, requiring you to walk a short distance to reach the ski access. Likewise, the Elk Highlands Lift may not operate when snow conditions are insufficient. For guests prioritizing ski access, this location provides a great option, but we want to be transparent that skiing directly from the property to the mountain and returning directly to the property is not guaranteed throughout the season.

House was great for four families, plenty of space. Large hot tub, clean and well stocked. We appreciated the two washers and dryers, two refrigerators, beach toys, chairs and coolers. It does need some updating, especially in the bathrooms. There was mold growing on the first floor shower area since there is no vent. Some beds were more comfortable than others and they need new sheets(the fitted sheets kept coming off the mattress). The biggest problem was that the dishwasher broke halfway through our stay. They were very responsive at first, even on a holiday weekend, and sent two people out to try to repair it. Neither could. Then it was crickets after that. Never got an update from the rental company. Not having a dishwasher with 15 people was not fun. We spent so much of our vacation doing dishes and finally just ended up eating out a bunch. These were all minor inconveniences and overall, we really enjoyed the house and would stay there again.

Our 3 generation family found this home ample in size for all of us--we loved having all the bathrooms! The entire home was well-stocked, the hot tub was perfect, we appreciated all the kitchen amenities and condiments left for us. Glacier national park was spectacular and a "must experience". We found hikes to accommodate all the ability levels--though the icy plunges into Alpine lakes/rivers were mostly left to the 3rd generation! There were also numerous trails and a pristine lake with swimming dock we discovered nearer by that weren't crowded at all.The entire beautiful experience was capped off by a beautiful black bear lumbering right by my morning "coffee on the deck" ritual the very last day. Great house and hospitable hosts!

Great place for a large family. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kids loved the downstairs. The hot tub was so nice to come home to after a long day of hiking.

The property was great but we had a hard time getting a hold of someone after texting and leaving multiple voicemails. There was no propane when we arrived. We did finally get refills a few days later. Also, as I texted multiple times, there were definitely mice in the upstairs bathrooms so you may want to check on those.
