Casa Bonari is located in Monticchiello, in Val d’Orcia, the heart of Tuscany. It’s an indipendent apartment inside a country house with large garden. It’s furnished with old and modern elements, fully equipped living room, smart tv and large outdoor spaces for relax in front of a magnificent panorama.

3 bedrooms (Sunrise, Sunset and Charming room)
2 bathrooms
1 living room fully equipped
1 sitting room with a large selection of books, smart tv, bluetooth stereo
There is also a studio with a piano Kawai available upon request.
Every room has the view of the garden.
The garden is large 1 ha and into it there is an olive grove in front of Monticchiello, a pine forest on the south side and a beautiful meadow in front of Pienza.
Numerous trekking/bike routes start from here.
This location is recommended for food and wine tours, architectural beauties and breathtaking views of countryside.
The renaissance cities of Pienza and Montepulciano are distant 10/12 km, the Thermal location of Bagni Vignoni 15 km, the gorgeous Siena 60 km.

Our stay (my wife, myself, and our 3 month old baby) was excellent at Casa Bonari. Upon pulling up, the Tuscan villa sits on a beautiful hill overlooking the countryside with well kept grounds including olive groves and many places to relax outside on the beautiful property. Communication with the host was easy and they even allowed early check-in and late checkout. The apartment is well equipped and very spacious (easily could accommodate many more than just us 3 - we only used one of the three bedrooms). Rosella and her sister Valentina were incredibly helpful with providing a crib for the baby and offering to make reservations at the local Monticchiello restaurants (which are only open certain days in the off-season). The location is walkable to the market and small village of Monticchiello, while being a quick drive to Pienza, and Montepulciano + Montalcino for wine tastings. Highly recommend restaurants Bronzino, Poggiardelli (florentine steak), La Guardiola, and crostinis at the corner after just walking through the gate of Monticchiello (can’t recall the name). Our favorite winery was Le Chiuse in Montalcino. Overall excellent experience and will definitely stay again when visiting Tuscany

Valentina greeted us and was a gracious host making us feel welcome. We felt at home and relaxed. Our quick morning walk for pastries was a pleasure. The small town is magical.

Casa Bonari was everything we had hoped for. The property is meticulously kept and had every amenity one would need. The hosts were gracious and welcoming. The location is perfect for exploring the Tuscan hill-towns and wineries. We highly recommend this property. Grazie mille, Valentina, Albo and Vanna for a wonderful stay.
