The property was great and private. The views from the deck were wonderful. The property featured hiking trails and a nice area for seating. Everything was well maintained and in good working order. The space was able to accommodate the eight of us (two families of four).

Terrific spot for a quiet getaway in the mountains

The picture on the web site of the South Park plateau with the distant mountains is misleading. The property is on the side of a mountain surrounded by lush forest and with an excellent view of nearby peaks with patches of snow remaining in August. We low-landers all had mild headaches for a day from the altitude (10,500ft).The kitchen is well appointed. Overall, the accommodations were a great value.
6 / 10Average·Jun 2021
The property is nice on the inside and wildcat.
There’s a great deal of debris on the outside surrounding the home and if you have children you would need to be cautious of them playing outside without close supervision.
We attempted to contact the property manager to ask a few questions about the fire pit and some other areas and our call was never returned while we were there. There was little to no propane in the tanks which made it difficult to grill. We would most likely not rent this property again for the money charged.
