Nature at its finest: Find peace and tranquility in this waterfront home with breathtaking water views from all freshly decorated rooms. Enjoy the water traffic on the C&D Canal along with the multitude of wildlife living in the area. Launch your kayak, canoe or row boat from the boat ramp, or store your jet ski or boat on the boat lifts. Relax here in the evenings while spending the day visiting the University of Delaware or other local Cecil County venues.
Tidal beach is private for walks and leads to a short public wooded hiking trail. Privacy without distractions is perfect for use as a corporate retreat and wonderful for artists to express their creativity. The waterfront master bedroom has French doors and deck, while the master bathroom has a large whirlpool style tub and separate shower with an oversized walk-in closet. Enjoy radiant heat throughout and prepare your meal in the gourmet kitchen while watching pass the large barges and towering ships from all corners of the world. Utilize the butler’s pantry with wine fridge for your personal entertaining. The sectional couch in the living area has the ability to sleep two persons and a corner restaurant-style bar area welcomes the would-be bartender to host house guests. Great location & views. Very clean. Easy check in. Host very responsive. Only improvement would be to repair/replace the stove/oven. It works but oven door broken & gets very hot.

Enjoyed our stay at this peaceful waterfront home. Beautiful panorama of windows to appreciate the property from inside or outside. Across the canal are views of woods and beach so the home feels serene even though it’s not far out of town. Also last house at the end of a quiet road with a pond on one side. Saw otters, fox, osprey and deer. Fun swimming off the dock. Pleasant hike to another beach just 5 minutes away. Great place for playing board games, reading—can be as active or restful as you like. Liked watching boats and some big ships go by on the canal. Waterfront dining at nearby restaurants or stocked kitchen for those inspired to cook. Appreciated all of the little extras at the home. Excellent easy communication with hosts. Look forward to returning for a longer stay.
