This is my third time renting this home. The host is excellent and very accommodating. The house is always spotless. Each room has its own full bath and there is a half bath on the first floor. Washer with clothes line and full kitchen for cooking. Large patio with grill. Safe with fenced parking. Location is between Ajijic and Chapala. I would highly recommend this property.

The owner is very easy to communicate with and tries hard to make your stay pleasant. The house is sold, secure and spacious with room for a large family. Everything else is pretty basic. Light fixtures have been replaced with hanging bulbs, TVs are relics of the 90s and don't really work, the water pressure is pretty bad. If your just looking for a home base and intend to be out most of the time, then this is a good enough house to come home to. Overall I was happy, though it is not luxury.

Well appointed home that's walking distance to the lake and a short drive to several restaurants (including Adelitas). The hosts very nice and greeted us upon arrival. The house is very secure with exterior locks on all of the doors/windows and exterior security cameras. However, the neighborhood feels safe and we felt comfortable walking around and exploring. We strolled down to Punta MiraSol which is right on the lake and has a pool available with a nominal day-use fee. They also have a bar/snacks and rent kayaks if you'd like to experience the lake from the water. The only issue we experienced in the house is low water pressure, but this is not uncommon in Riberas. Once we figured out how the external pump and pressure tank works, it was much better. Overall, we'd stay here again as it's located in a great jumping off spot to explore the North side of the lake!
