The location right by the lake is wonderful, with lots of birdlife and beautiful views. Much about the house was really nice - there was a lot of space, high-end kitchen appliances, and a wonderful garden and pools. The caretaker, Daniel, was a calm and helpful presence, who handled the many problems during our stay quickly and efficiently.
The bedrooms are on separate floors, but the upper one is only accessible via an external staircase. So if you want to lock the doors at night, the people in the two bedrooms are separated by a locked door. Although there were several frying pans in the kitchen, there was only one saucepan, and it was small. The dryer was broken and taken away the day we arrived. It came back repaired on day 5. There are DVD players in the bedrooms, but neither of them work. Most unfortunate of all, the WiFi was not working for the first two days, and the electricity went out entirely for days 2 and 3. So we were in darkness at night, with no internet, TV, microwave, chargers, refrigeration etc. Daniel helped by running an extension cord to the kitchen, but that had limited capacity. Then there was no water for several hours on day 4, and no hot water all that day and night. We informed the agency, Kivoya Vacation Rentals, who offered no apology or appropriate refund for the affected days when we did not get the services we had paid for. Also, be aware that there are two villas on this property, so the garden and pool are shared. This is not clear from the listing.

There are no meals provided. Daniel and his family are WONDERFUL! They are great HOST! I have stayed at this property several times and with a few minor issues the property is GREAT! I look forward to returning soon.
The property is a NO PET property but they where very accommodating with my Registered Service Dog!
The living room and the master bedroom and bathroom window treatments should be replaced, they where not working 4 yrs ago when I stayed at the property and are still not functioning. Again minor issues.
