Truly incredible retreat lovingly designed, built and maintained by a young family native to Shepherdstown.
Get away from the city but stay close enough for an occasional commute or day trip. Fantastic setting in nature, surrounded by numerous wildlife including Blue Herons, with a view of a sheep farm and a golf course. Can’t find that everywhere!
Home is a truly incredible space indoor and out - designed by us to be our serene dream home, and now we are sharing with you.
Two master en-suite bedrooms, plus 3 other bedrooms, plus 1 large office and library. 1 bedroom is perfect for small children, setup with a toddler bed and a crib ready for use!
Huge primary master suite has sitting room overlooking the pond and forest with covered balcony, luxury master bath with custom frameless glass shower and 6' clawfoot tub under large picture window overlooking the water.
First floor is fully open floor plan with expansive sliding glass doors and picture windows right over the water. Living room has 20' ceilings and gas fireplace.
Gourmet kitchen with massive island. Stainless steel appliances, white quartz counters, furnished with everything you need and then some.
Fenced in backyard with children's playground equipment. Huge back deck over water with grill and fire pit, large screened in porch with sectional sofa and fan just off dining room and kitchen space for indoor/outdoor living.

Lovely, spacious, light-filled, huge kitchen, many outdoor opportunities. Peaceful and quiet surroundings. 10 minutes to biking on the C&O Canal, 10 minutes to Shepardstown. Perfect getaway.

Lovely modern home in a pleasant, quiet community with a golf course, nearby historic Shepherdstown and Antietam. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxed weekend. Because two of the bedrooms have children's furniture in them, it is most appropriate for groups wanting two bedrooms for adults. The hosts were very responsive.

This house was fantastic. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions and even gave us some recommendations on local spots to check out when we asked. House was very clean and everything you may have forgotten at home was supplied. Perfect spot to get away. Thanks

This home was perfect for an extended getaway. We came from the DMV area to get our kids out of the house for the first time in a year. It’s slightly over an hour drive and the home was gorgeous. The kids had a great time playing in the yard and exploring the pond. The home was very clean and had excellent amenities provided. The host was very friendly and responsive to text messages from the start. I would recommend this house to a group of friends of family with or without kids to enjoy a quiet weekend.
