Little Sparrow is a modern, newly-renovated cabin nestled in the West Virginia mountains –with everything you need for your getaway.

The Space:
Our family-friendly cabin is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families or small groups of friends.
The cabin includes:
- Outdoor hot tub perfect for relaxing
- 3 bedrooms: two with queen beds one with a set of twin bunk beds
- Fully-stocked kitchen with stove/oven and microwave
- Wood stove to keep you cozy at night (plus baseboard heaters if you want to keep things easy)
Outside the cabin, we also have:
- Outside fire pit with seating for the whole gang
Our cabin has private access to a large community pond, just a quick 5 minute walk from the cabin. It’s stocked with fish, and has several picnic tables there as well – perfect for a picnic on a sunny day!
We often take our three little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Unfortunately we don't allow cats (we're allergic).
Please note: this property is located in a mountainous area, which means the roads leading to the home may be gravel and uneven in places. While most vehicles can access the property without issue, guests should be prepared for winding terrain and slower driving conditions—especially after rain or during winter months. We recommend using a vehicle with good ground clearance for added comfort. Embrace the adventure—this scenic setting is part of what makes your mountain escape so special!
Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but due to the natural setting, you may still notice some leaves, pollen, or similar—especially during certain seasons. We appreciate your understanding as nature tends to leave its mark, no matter how often we tidy up!
Beyond the cabin itself, we love how close to Berkeley Springs (a 20 min drive away). Berkeley Springs has been voted one of the top arts communities in the US, and has fantastic breweries, restaurants, and shops for you to enjoy!
Please note our House Rules section and the importance of following them, as relates to Occupancy, Parking, Noise Ordinances, Posted Speed Limits, and Proper Trash Disposal. These rules must be followed in accordance with County and HOA rules and regulations, and failure to adhere to them will result in corresponding fines. Our aim is to ensure that all our guests have a pleasant, peaceful, and wonderful stay at our property.

Overall a nice cabin, kitchen was great, grill worked well, bedrooms were comfortable. Tight parking and driving up the driveway. Super nosy neighbors .

The house was cozy and updated. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was raining for a good part of our stay. There were a couple of safety issues that I shared with the owner that will be addressed. All in all it was a good rental.

House was clean. Very nice, quiet property. About 4 miles of gravel road to get here, so would recommend a vehicle that can handle it. Cell service in the area was patchy, so GPS for trips was in and out. We would definitely stay here again if we take another trip to Berkeley Springs!
