Stylish Studio Gilao in Taviras Historical Centre

De accommodatie is zeer gunstig gelegen tov restaurants etc. Wij waren er in het laag seizoen dus geen overlast. Hebben erg veel op het dakterras gezeten (gedeeld met 3 app)

Het is een prima keuken om even een kopje koffie te maken. Maar niet om echt te koken. De geur in het trappenhuis ruik je niet in de kamer.

Location was excellent. Right in the heart of Tavira.

The shower was very small and hard to contain the water in the space. The towels are tiny and there’s 1 per person. There wasn’t anywhere to dry them. I asked if we could have 2 more. The host replied quickly saying, they don’t usually give extra towels unless you stay there over 7 nights. I wouldn’t want to use a small towel for 7 nights. They kindly left us 2 extra small towels and a bath mat. I might sound picky but offering these small things can make a stay comfortable. The apartment has double glazing which is good when the bar downstairs is cranking until 1.30am. You have to expect some noise when you’re in the center of restaurants and bars. However this bar is loud! I wasn’t going to raise any issues as our stay was comfortable. However when I received a message saying they are waiting for my review and anything under 8 is negative and once they have my review - I would receive a gift. I wasn’t impressed as everyone should give their true feedback for the sake of future guests.

Great central location, a little noisy, but we quite liked that. Night time was quiet, after the bars closed. Roof terrace was nice. Bed was very comfortable. Decor was stylish.

The kitchenette was very small, awkward to use, no space. The shower was also small, with a shower curtain.

The location, air-conditioning and the comfortable bed. Communication with Metilda was excellent

It needs a good deep clean and painting and decorating. The chatter and laughter (seated outdoors)from the bar close by, I don't know of any other bar in Tavira where people are still sitting around making lots of noise after 3 am in the morning. So bring earplugs if you like your sleep!
