This 3 bedroom condo is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the Vail Racquet Club and Big Horn Park. The Apres Cafe located in the racquet club is open to the public and has good food and the park down the road is very dog and kid friendly. There’s even a trailhead across the street from the park that heads up the mountain to a waterfall. The condo itself is well appointed and has room for 8 people to sleep. There are 2 bedrooms with king size beds and one room with 2 twin beds and a bunk bed. There are two full bathrooms, one on each floor. The kitchen has a big counter and opens up to the dining/living room, which has nice comfortable furniture. My family enjoyed eating dinner and playing cards at the dining room table, and playing chess and watching tv in the living room. The porch off the living room has a gas grill and a small table for 2. There’s a lovely view of the mountain from the porch. Neighborhood is nice and quiet - relaxing. Plus the Vail bus system runs along the street the condo is on so it’s easy to jump on the bus and head into the main Vail Village is you don’t want to pay for parking. Lastly, there are quite a few trailheads within a short drive from the condo. We enjoyed the Pitkin Trail quite a bit, although it was pretty steep at the beginning! All in all, a great place to stay. I highly recommend it.

We had no problems with the property. It's very convenient and spacious. The problem we had was the key box would not unlock. We called twice and emailed. The unit was unlocked when we arrived so we got in but could not lock the door when we left to go out for the day. Never did get anyone out to resolve it.

Excellent place to come back to at end of a day of skiing at Vail or Beaver Creek. Cooked all our breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen and ate at the long table looking out big windows to small snowy meadow…very relaxing. Watched TV, had wood burning fire in fireplace, enjoyed lounging on high quality and very comfy furniture. Ski gear was tucked out of the way in built-in storage right by the door. Staying in East Vail helped us get more space while still being convenient to the resorts. Used the bus to get to Vail which was quick and easy. Drive to Beaver Creek (20min) and parked for $10 a day. You can park at the very close lots at both resorts for just a few $ after 1 and free after 3 if that’s more convenient for afternoon/evening plans. The unit is hard to find because the number scheme of the condos makes no sense. 809 (this property) is in a completely different part of the condo building from 808 (for example). The combo to get the key out of the lock box was different than what was sent to us so we had to call the provided phone number and they gave us other combos to try. Once we found the place and got in, all was great…just a wonky start. Overall, highly recommend for a holiday getaway. Well-priced, good location, peaceful setting, very nice place.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived at the property the door was wide open. A bit disconcerting but all seemed to be okay. On the surface the unit was clean but when we went to cook meals we saw the mits were greasy and filthy and cupboards dirty inside and many kitchen items not available, broken or just two of an item ( wine glasses). The bedroom window in the bunk room couldn’t close fully. From the master you could hear highway noise with door cracked because the unit was warm and we needed the cool air. Pool is okay but could stand some new furniture and more frequent cleaninG. Pool was Difficult to locate at first. For the price of $1000 for 3 nights, was a bit steep for amenities. The master didn’t have a private bath and even sink area did not close off for privacy.
