Musty smell

The host messaged me the lockbox code and location, which were easy to find. The location of the property was great - very convenient for accessing the A48, Tesco, and Cardiff city. There was plenty of on-street parking close by. The size of the property was ideal for two people. There was an ample supply of hot water.

On arrival, we could not access the gate without walking across the next-door neighbour's driveway, as two large vehicles were blocking the entry. This was quite embarrassing. On other occasions, it was fine when the cars were either not there or parked in a more sensible position. Tea and coffee were available, but it would have been nice to have had some milk in the fridge. The kitchen was adequate, but appliances quite basic and dated. A screen door rather than a shower curtain would have been better to avoid the risk of water escaping the shower cubicle.

Location and privacy. Warm, particularly appreciated the heated towel rail. Generally we were content but there were some aspects which could be improved.

Cracks in shower tray. Lower shelf in fridge door missing. No fruit juice glasses. Only one teaspoon!Volume control on the TV seemed to be inactive in that the sound was quite loud and couldn’t be lowered.

Beautiful little annex, lovely and private in great location.

There were areas that had obviously not been cleaned for some time. The bed mattress was a spring mattress which was very soft and very uncomfortable you could feel the springs. The outside chairs were broken and could not be used.
