Wake up to the comforts of home with the most amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean, Edisto River, and beach. Watch the shrimp boats leave out in the early morning then returning with their catch of the day all from your waterfront deck.
Walk into low country shiplap and soothing Chantilly Lace walls. This 1 bedroom, 2 bath villa feels more like a home instead of a vacation rental.
The primary bedroom features a new king size bed along with a new plush mattress. There is a workspace featuring a modern desk , white leather chair with relaxing views of live oaks and nature as you get in a few emails or create your market shopping list. The bedroom also has a 55" Smart HDTV w/Netflix and a DVD player. Ladies don't worry about packing your make up mirror, the primary bath has an added one on the wall. Also featured is a bidet toilet.
Love the ocean? Well you will see the waves in the stunning new blue granite countertops in the kitchen. There are stainless appliances throughout, new cookware, added open stainless shelves in dining area where you will find all the serving pieces needed for an evening of entertaining. Extra attention for additional pantry storage for all your grocery items will be found in kitchen pantry. The counter height dining table seats 2 comfortably with 2 additional seating areas at the island. Mixologist in family? Enjoy the wicker bar set up along with a wine fridge!
The adjacent living room area features a queen sleeper sofa, and a 55" Smart HDTV. This room is bright and opens to the covered deck which has been made to be one of the most comfortable seating areas in the villa. The patio table has cushioned chairs, pillows, and an inflatable ottoman to match. An outdoor blue rug with ripples of waves in the pattern will be bringing the ocean to your feet.
A stacked washer/dryer is also available in the villa for your convenience. This Pelican Watch will keep you coming back for more! This unit is dog friendly for up to 2 small dogs (25#/dog limit). Pet fee per pet applies.
You will want to spend as much time as possible on the deck soaking up the coastal scenery as this villa has one of the widest views of the Edisto River and Atlantic Ocean beyond. Steps leading down from the deck take you to the boardwalk with direct beach access and 3.5 miles of beach to explore.

The first gate pass is included in your stay. You must call our office if you require more than one gate pass

Amenity cards giving you access to the facilities of the Seabrook Island Club are not available for purchase . Access to the Property Owner's Lake House facility including an outdoor pool, indoor pool, and fitness center are available for an additional fee (Lake House outdoor pool free access).
This home allows 2 dogs under 25 lbs each. An additional pet fee is added for each dog
*Ring doorbells are at the front door and back door of this home.
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.
For monthly rentals the policy is as follows:
For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

The beautifully decorated fully stocked condo was perfect for our 3 night getaway with our mini doodle. It was perfectly located on Seabrook Island close to the Boardwalk which was perfect to take our dog out on the beach. The condo was super clean and perfect for watching the sunset. The owner thought of everything and we really appreciated the special touches like make up vanity and high end amenities. This is a downstairs unit so might want to keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. Maybe a box fan would be a good addition to help drown out noise. There is a nice noise maker next to the bed but we could still hear loud footsteps all night in the unit above us. Some of the other reviews mention no hot water in middle bathroom but the trick is to pull handle all of the way out and turn counter clockwise until it clicks. We absolutely loved the unit and will cone back in the future. Highly recommend!

Perfect, relaxing, peaceful! Just what we were looking for. Loved watching the local deer and pelicans- so fun! The Lake House accommodations were phenomenal- fitness center has everything you need for cardio AND strength training. Pills looked nice too, though we didn’t use those. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed r get away at Pelican Watch Villa The Unit was well stocked with everything needed for a few days or longer vacation. Villa is beautifully decorated & very clean. Love location. In the future if we visit Seabrook Island will book at this location. Thank u to the owner for a very enjoyable stay at their villa.

Overall we give this property a C. The unit was nicely decorated but was dark, with only windows in the bedroom and off the porch. The bedroom shades were broken, so they could not be opened to let in light. We called maintenance but nothing was done to fix the shades. We had to have lights turned on all day and all evening since there was virtually no light from windows.
There is no light over the dining table, even though there is a capped electrical box over the table. There are no coat hooks in the apartment. Being that it is winter, we needed our coats all the time. It made it inconvenient to need to hang coats in the bedroom closet every time we came into the unit. We ended up just putting our coats on the counter stools every day.
The weather for the month we were there was cold and wet. The heat in the unit was marginal. Bedroom and hall bath heat was not good. You can see daylight around the door, allowing cold air into the unit.
Whenever the residents in the unit above us moved a piece of furniture or ran the vacuum, it shook the building. There must not be adequate sound abatement insulation in the building.
The Pelican Watch Villas are located in a heavily treed area where there was not much sunlight. If people like a jungle-like atmosphere, I guess it would be fine but we did not like it. The information on line did not show the location of the property from the entrance side of the building.
It is unlikely that we will stay at the property in the future.
